NEW MINECRAFT END UPDATE TEASERS – NEW ARMOR + END PILLAGERS?!

Ah, yes. Another week, another another end update teaser. All right, guys. Mojang is definitely up to something, right? So, over the past week or so, there have been multiple new potential end update teasers and weird things going down coming from the mouths of Mojang themselves. In fact, so much so that it’s starting to become a massive meme in the community. Combine all this recent happenings with some other things that went down over the past couple of months, and well, well, is something a foot. Waddlers, pop a squat and let’s clock that tea. Life. Remember that life is short, man. It’s not that deep. Let’s have some fun. Don’t take everything so seriously. But do you think Mojang is potentially building up hype? Let me know down below. I’ve cooked up a little theory that I’ll talk about at the end. Ah, yes. Minecraft 1.1.7, 1.18, 1.19, 1.20, 1.21, and every drop afterward. Yeah, Mojang’s had a little bit of an obsession, you could say, with the overworld and updating it for a long time now. But speaking of a long time, Minecraft 1.21, it has literally been 84 years. If you want to include experimental toggles for the trial chamber update, then snapshots for 1.21. And therefore, this era in a sense kind of began all the way back, way, way far back at this point, in the fall of 2023, shortly after Minecraft Live when the Trial Chamber update was initially revealed. We’ve been stuck in the era of Minecraft 1.2. 21 for almost longer than ever before when it comes to old Minecraft updates. Now, way back in the fall of 2024, Mojang announced that drops are now a thing and big updates are over. But at the same time, they did also mention that Mojang is still focusing on long-term initiatives. Coming straight from the devs mouth themselves, this does mean that major updates are still a thing. We know that Mojang’s development team splits up into separate groups to work on updates. And we also know that according to the devs, they have been working on a bigger project behind the scenes for a long time now. And that circles us back around to every single drop or update since the Nether update. What is the common theme? Well, the common theme is the overworld. With essentially the sole exception of the happy gas that was added to the game relatively recently, everything that has been added to the game for like 5 years now is all inside of the overworld. Now, this one throws us back a bit here, but you might remember at one point Mojang said that they would be updating the end once they’ve gone ahead and updated the overworld. In more recent years, it’s a little bit unclear if this is still Mojang’s MMO. Does the whole overworld need to be updated first or will they just update the end whenever? It’s unclear, but Mojang’s allegedly been working on a long-term project. Perhaps that’s why we’ve been in 1.21 for so long. And since then, we’ve had about 5 years worth of overworld updates. New happenings, the Minecraft YouTube channel, and nowadays they’ve gone full-time YouTuber, and they make a lot of posts over on the community tab, throwing us back to one that on its own wouldn’t really mean too much at all. Have you made it to the end? Yes, working on it. The end. Chicken jockey. So, the thing with today is that it’s not that serious, but maybe it is. And it’s about the quantity. You see, metaphorically speaking, we’re not just looking at an ender dragon egg. We’re looking at an egg, a block, another block, and maybe half of a block, maybe a different plant. And really the big picture here, everything might just add up all here together popping up relatively recently on the official Minecraft Tik Tok. Another strange one, the you need that post. So, we actually clocked this one in an earlier videos. We’re not going to talk about it too much going on here, but clearly this post is really, really weird. Doesn’t seem to really mean anything, but has a warden in the end. And this guy again, Mojang’s new best friend, I guess. For even more on that teaser, check out this one after this video. Zooie, the vibrant visuals update or more specifically the end inside of the vibrant visuals update. Did you hear that? Maybe. Did you see it? Now, this is something beautiful that we’ve talked about quite a bit here. But inside of the end, in the vibrant visuals that keep in mind is fully out right now for Bedrock Edition in the works for Java. So, it’s coming soon. Well, randomly and sort of without any explanation inside of the end with the vibrant visuals enabled, the new default to look of Minecraft. We have these storms, big flashes and bangs that occasionally happen in the end in vibrant visuals. Interestingly, this wasn’t here on day one for vibrant visuals. Instead, it was added to the game shortly after and has no explanation whatsoever. My opinion on it and what I think about it, you obviously know. I’ve talked about it quite a bit here, but it’s definitely weird to say the least. Given the fact that Mojang usually explains their updates with at least a couple of sentences, I think we can go ahead and throw this one into the pile of strange end things recently. Oh, now let’s take a look at the star of what has pretty much been half of this year this year. The happy guest. The dude is absolutely adorable and 100% amazing, but also unfortunately absolutely game-breaking when it comes to the end. The end, you know how it goes. You jump into the outer end island. Usually you take the dragon on. Oh, but what’s that? You just want to turn around and fly off into the sunset and find the outer end. Well, yeah, you can do that. There’s absolutely nothing stopping you. On top of that, once you make it to the outer end, let’s think about all of the only enemies inside of the end other than a boss. Oh, the enderman. I could stare at them and they want to run and get me. Ah, that’s so sad. I bet you can’t get me when I’m all the way up here. Oh, and wow, would you take a look at that? All the way up here, not only can I see for absolutely miles, but I can go from island to island really easy. And well, you know, the whole big goal of the end, going to the end city, all about verticality. Well, what if I just use the happy gas to fly all the way up to the top of this thing? Or even better, just fly all the way over to the end ship and get all of the prizes I could dream of. Yeah. So, we’ve talked about it a lot, but when the happy gas isn’t busy getting stuck on things, well, it kind of absolutely breaks the end. Would Mojang really just go ahead and drop something into the game with complete disregard to how it breaks an entire dimension with no future plans in mind? All right. Well, uh I guess maybe another weird post over here on the community tab. We don’t have to go back very far until we find this one. Whose POV is this? Now, obviously here this is using Java Edition’s really cool spectate POV mechanic wherein with certain mobs in the game. If you flip into spectator mode and then interact with the mob, you can get its POV. So, this is basically what an Enderman sees. Here we can see that obviously the POV from that post, it’s an Enderman. Again, on its own, it really wouldn’t mean that much. In fact, only a couple of weeks ago, it seems that the intern that runs these community tab posts, well, they must have recently discovered this mechanic cuz they did the same exact thing, but with a creeper. Again, today it’s about the quantity. All right, and that brings us to maybe the biggest whopper of the day, the shelf. The weird to me. I don’t know what to think about this. I noticed this the day that they ended up dropping the copper statue and the copper shelf. Alongside those amazing new features, we got our standard blog article here. I clocked it before the torches. These are on Java edition. At least at the time that this blog article had dropped, Java did not have the shelf publicly quite yet. But on this article, the interesting thing is a little bit further down. Um, Mojang, what? Huh? Okay. Not only did I notice this one pretty much right away, but I think everybody in the community saw this. This sticks out like a sore thumb. Moch, what are you doing? They know that the end update is maybe the most requested thing of all time. And then they go ahead and put the shelves with any item. And mind you, you can put any item in the game in these shelves, but it’s literally all end related items in some form kind of obviously front and center and stuff. A bottom end up here elytra. You find that in the end. Recovery compass. Maybe you use that in the end to find yourself. The eye of ender. It’s another anything to happy gast. It breaks the entire end. Now, I have a little separate theory we’ll talk about in a second about the rest of these items here and what this could maybe potentially be hinting at, but they’re all end items. This freaked me out. This was crazy and I’ve waited to talk about it until now. What do you guys think? Surely Mojang wouldn’t deliberately tease an end update just to troll us and string us along, right? Like Mojang is a pretty smart company. They’re clever with their hints sometimes. These items though they might not necessarily mean anything right now. Well, hold on. That gets to the other theory. I’ll talk about that in a minute. My theory with these items right here. So, we have a lot of blatantly and focused items. There are a couple of things that don’t necessarily fit in though. The netherite armor, the pillager banner. So, within the lore of Minecraft, it’s not really clear what the pillagers are on about other than absolutely hating villagers. Wait, were they all? Oh, there you are. Within the lore, it’s not clear if they care about the end or anything like that. But considering the fact that they’re into magical things like the allay, maybe they are into some of the more deep and intricate things of Minecraft, including the end. Maybe perhaps whenever we get this end update, there could be something involving the pillagers over in that dimension. The armor right there. Well, look at what they did with the Nether update that was such a success. Netherite. Do you think that they could add new armor inside of the end? You know, like a super late game ore that maybe you’d be able to find while exploring traversing the end. Huh. I feel like the idea of more ores is not only always popular, but some kind of new ore inside of the end. Maybe that is craftable into an armor piece. Well, that’d be the perfect addition to an end update. Either way though, this article, it’s really, really weird to me. combine it with everything else that we’ve been talking about. And to be honest, there are so many more weird things that have gone down that well, unless you want this video to end up being 30 minutes long, I just don’t have time to talk about them all today. And yeah, well, it seems that something weird is going down over at MoJ. And I have a theory. Here’s my little theory on what might be up. So, look, at this point, you never know. Maybe before I end up dropping this video, the end up date is confirmed and it’s part of this new copper drop. But at least right now, it doesn’t exactly seem like the copper drop is an end update. But what if they don’t have to be teasing only the next drop right now? What if Mojang’s playing the long game with this one? And instead of only teasing what’s in the copper drop, they’re teasing what’s coming next soon. I mean, after all, if you think about it here, we’re not that far away from this second Minecraft Live of the year. Earlier this year in March, we had Minecraft Live Spring. We learned last fall that Mojang announced there would be two Minecraft Lives per year now. And we’re only a little bit of time away from Minecraft Live fall. That is if it falls in September when it usually does. The end update would obviously be one of the most exciting things of all time. Maybe Mojang is subtly planting the seeds of excitement right now with some small tiny hints. So, what do you think? Are all of these things teasers and hints at an end update?
