How dumb are Terraria’s negative reviews? Let’s check out some negative reviews on Steam and see if they have valid arguments or not. I would say yes, but the new music sounds like trash and makes me not want to play. Terraria soundtrack definitely isn’t my favorite in gaming, but I feel like it fits the game really well. Worst game I’ve ever played. Just a Minecraft copy. This review is probably a joke, but it is important to mention because people still think like this. A lot of people do. Minecraft and Terraria are not alike that much anymore. When Terraria first came out, it was very similar to Minecraft in a lot of ways, but those two games have taken completely different directions. Horrible grind, horrible game in general. Don’t buy unless you are clinically insane. I think Terraria does have a decent bit of grinding in the early game and early hard mode, but aside from that, I feel like it has a normal amount of grinding for a

  1. The similarities between Terraria and Minecraft are

    They’re both sandboxes
    You can fight some things

    That’s really it.

    Differences

    Terraria

You fight a lot more bosses
    More armor choices
    Accessories
Biomes are more loot related rather than aesthetic related
    More events
    More enemies
    2D
    And there’s more

    Minecraft

    A few bosses
    Simple tiered armor and tools
    Nothing fancy weapon wise
    3D
Has a shop in bedrock where you spend “money”
There’s more but I’ll stop there

Both are great and very enjoyable but while they are both sandboxes Minecraft has taken a turn to do more exploring and to do more building and redstone fun. Terraria is more aimed at fighting but you can still make great builds and have fun with the wiring system, and you can still explore just not as much. Both have their ups and downs but both are 9+/10 games.

  2. 90% of my time in the game is spent grinding something whether that be an item I need to combine with others, mining ores, cranking out houses, or trying to beat a boss. This isn't a bad thing though because I think Terraria makes the grind really satisfying.

  3. No, terraria does have a horrible grind. My biggest complaint is that every system seems designed to gleefully waste the player's time. I want to try another strategy at the frost moon, not:
-mine for gold and collect blinkroot for a spelunker potion
    -mine 300 chlorophyte
    -cut down a few trees
    -replant the trees
    -craft arrows
-purchase bullets and vials of venom
    -craft ammo
    -fish for ebonkoi
    -fish for crimson tigerfish
    -fish for haemopiranhas
    -fish for armoured cavefish
    -fish for frost minnows
-pick up dayblooms, mushrooms, cacti, deathweed and shiverthorn
    -mine iron
-craft regen, ironskin, thorns, wrath, rage, heartreach, endurance and warmth potions
-mine gravestones because my arena has become a graveyard for the twelfth time
-go to the dungeon for ectoplasm, BBQ ribs, and bones
    -fetch cobwebs for silk
-grind souls of night and light
-wait five minutes for night time
    -fight skeletron prime
    -craft naughty present
-wait for one whole day/night cycle
-apply war table, bewitching table, and ammo box
    -summon minions and sentries
-finally, try out strategy (die, lose all buffs, fail to get snowman cannon, return to step 1)
Also the music is ass don't @ me

  4. what do they mean Minecraft copy, terraria has a lot of content maybe more than Minecraft has, look at it now, the purpose is to grind, defeat bosses, and many more stuff, I hate when people just compare the two says minecraft is better😡😡

  5. i thought terraria was a minecraft copy when i first saw it,i bought it to see how bad it was. played it for 2000 hours on almost EVERY device and still play it
