The Calamity Mod DLC has an INSANE WEAPON!

This weapon might be one of the craziest in Calamity mods history. Let’s hop in game and check it out. Hey, so we are here checking out a cool weapon that we have seen in a previous video. They just broke my torch. Not your most like obvious weapon choice, but it is someone that we know and love from the Calamity Wrath of the Gods mod. That being none other than Solen. Oh my god. But not only do we get her on our side, we get her as a pure weapon. That’s right. Get ready. Here it comes. Oh my god, look how beautiful that was. Do it again. Let’s do it one more time, but this time in the sky at night. No UI. Beautiful. But that is right. We get Solen as a weapon. This mod is literally just called Solen, but a weapon. Who would have thought? Also, we can hold right click to fly apparently. Oh, hold up on some Kirby Airide. This is sick. Yeah, let’s see just how strong this thing is. I don’t know if this is going to be like a can Terraria bosses survive type weapon and insta kill and everything. I guess we’re about to find out. Let’s keep it simple. Of course, we got to test it out on the basics. King Slime. Obviously, I don’t think King Slime is going to survive one of the deadliest beams we’ve seen. Bro got annihilated. This weapon literally went head-to-head with this guy, Mars. I’ll probably find my clip and put it on the screen of what I’m talking about. All right, it says hold left and right. Oh, and this this dude got what is that? 4.5 million health. So, I’m assuming, you know, most vanilla bosses shouldn’t be able to withstand this type of power. Now, my question is with the beam is it does what the hell? The real soul lens here. What’s up? How you doing? No, don’t don’t mind that I’m using you as a weapon. The only thing with this weapon though is it does like cut off every once in a while as you can see. I don’t know if I can like stop that or what. But again, all vanilla bosses I don’t think are going to be able to withstand such a weapon. Hold up. Let’s go over here real quick. Damn, why they got so many tables in here? They having a party. That is the most amount of tables I’ve ever seen in a Golem temple. All right, bring them both in. Let’s see some hard mode bosses against it. It still shreds them. Shredding them so hard is lagging the game. I still want to see some more though. Like I want to see some of the uh stronger enemies. Stronger bosses and enemies. How how fast does it kill them? The pre-h hard mode bosses just don’t stand a chance. But the hard mode bosses, that’s that’s really what I want to see here. Let’s see. Oh. Oh god. Game is freezing like crazy. Oh my god. That’s classic calamity mod. Always something happening after you kill a boss. I guess let’s go ahead and see even harder bosses from vanilla. I I guess let’s just see what type of damage we looking like with these guys. Oh, look. The Duke kind of ate that. I’m not going to lie. He kind of ate that beam. Empress of light also kind of eating the beam. Hold up. What’s going on here? I don’t even know if the weapon itself scales on anything, but let’s bring in the Moon Lord. Of course, we got to see the Moon Lord. Okay. Damn. I don’t know. The damage is so weird. Like, I don’t understand how the damage works. Sometimes it looks like it’s just destroying whatever boss we use it on. Sometimes it doesn’t look like that at all. Now that we have seen pretty much all the vanilla bosses, look at the eye cthulu. His ass running away. He don’t want to see that beam ever again in his life. Yeah. Let’s go ahead and let’s start checking out some of the calamity guys. Let’s start with brimstone elemental. Why not? Gone. Evaporated. Vaporized. Whoa. I don’t like that hole growing in the background. Good things don’t come from that hole specifically. All right. Who’s next? I don’t know. Uh, cow clone. The hole’s gone. Oh, where you at? Cow gone. She went into hiding just off of one taste of the beam. I chose like the worst boss to test this out. Oh. Oh, there you go. Brother’s gone. And she’s gone, I think. No, she’s not. Oh, now she’s gone. Who’s next? I don’t know. We’re kind of just legit spawning in random bosses. Doesn’t even matter the point of progression. I’m just bringing people in. Signis, why not? Let’s see what my boy Signis is up to. That’s so many damage numbers. That was actually beautiful how many damage that was. We did 63k right there. DPS pretty solid. I think we kind of hop into that post moonlord area. What happened to the music? It’s so quiet. And what happened to the black hole in the background? Uh I know I don’t think this dude’s postmord, but let’s test out the ravager anyways. He’s one of the tankier bosses. And gone just like that. Here’s an actual postmillord one. Polter gas. Let’s see. Oh, what was that big ass ghost? Polter Gas also kind of getting eaten up by this beam. So maybe just like a boss here and there will go into like a defensive state where we’re not really doing damage. That had to be what happened earlier where it seemed like it was barely doing anything. What happened to my music? I miss having music. It’s just gone. Primordial worm. Quick primordial worm fight. Oh my god. He’s the first one to eat it. He’s the first one to really eat the beam. We’re still doing like 40,000 which is still wild. Great damage. Hey, did you know you can fly around while shooting the beam? Pretty cool. Maybe you can’t actually. I think I broke the game. Oh, there you go. You might break the game flying around while shooting the beam. Yeah, primordial worm, I guess. Congrats. You get to live this time, buddy. All right, Providence. Providence is another one that’s got pretty high defense when you fight it outside of its area, but it’s still doing great damage. It still destroyed Providence pretty quickly. You know what always weirds me about Calamity? What is this Skeletron Prime? Like, it looks so scary. Let me see if I can make the UI scale even bigger. Like, who is bro? What’s he look like? That stuff on him, man. It’s like a purple one. What the heck? Oh my god, it’s so loud. Hey, at least we got music again. No longer just insanely quiet. All right, old Duke. Damn. What’s going on over here? My boy just got snatched the hell up. I guess we defeated him. Rest in peace to old Duke. All right, let’s bring out that boy dog. See what’s popping with him. No worm boss. Let’s see how he reacts to a laser beam. He’s like not reacting at all. Oh Jesus, that was loud as hell. And here he comes. Phase two. Where do I hit? I don’t know. Is this his head? Oh, there you go. He’s lowkey eating the bee. Wait, he’s in there for like a second. It’s very weird. Like, yeah, sometimes if they got like either a high defense phase or just like a something that makes them barely take damage type of phase, the laser is useless. But other times it does 100k per second. It’s very interesting. All right, let’s bring in Apollo Artemis. Let’s see what’s up. What’s up with the Exommex? Damn. Hold up. They they just don’t care. It seems like the Exomxes don’t care. They say get that weak ass weapon out of here. Which is crazy because we technically kill a mech. I don’t know if the if Mars the mech we kill with Solen or do damage to us with Solen is as strong as the these guys. I don’t know the lore. Somebody got to let me know in the comments. But it seems like the exoms are easily going to survive the souling beam. At this point, we know the big boys are coming. Pause. Bring them in. Big boy dragon. He’s eating the beam. It seems like once they get this much health, they just eat the beam. No problem. It’s still doing like solid damage. Now, that’s a beam right there. Look at that. It’s still doing solid damage, but I don’t know, man. I feel like a beam this strong and powerful should be deadly. So maybe in the future of this mod, since it’s pretty much a goof around cheat weapon, it should be an insanely strong goof around cheat weapon cuz I don’t think there’s a recipe. Let’s check real quick. Is there a recipe? Wait, there is indeed a recipe. You just craft it at a workbench with nothing. But yeah, obviously I don’t think Supreme Cal is going to be uh too easy to defeat with it. Also, it’s going to be a long fight. I don’t know why I always do this to myself and fight this wretched boss that talks for 10 minutes straight. Let’s see though. Let’s just see. Wait, Seapulkar. Can we kill Seulkar? I don’t know. Usually killing uh Seulkar is a sign of dominance and strength. Wait, hold up. Wait, what? I missed one. Oh, there we go. Now, let’s see it against her. What we looking like? I mean, it’s all right. 70K. It look like it reached its highest was 70k. It’s all right. I don’t know what this music is that’s playing. What is this music? We went from having no music to having like an alternate soundtrack. All right. Well, we know the the the really big big boys are coming in. But before that, we could do a little uh juice mod. Okay, they they can’t take on the beam. He’s going to jump away. God damn it. All right, you win this time, buddy. You win this time. Wait, is he coming back down? Oh, he’s not coming back down. Wait, what was that noise? He did come back down. Okay, there we go. We got him. I didn’t know he came back down. There’s a new boss fight, a new AI for that guy. All right, I’m assuming all the other ones also probably die fairly easily to the beam. Obviously, I don’t think the juice mod bosses are going to be as tanky as the Calamity mod ones, but I mean, these dudes are all still post Moonlord, so I expect a little bit of endurance from them. Definitely not as much as uh the the Calamity ones though, for sure. Especially the Wrath of the Gods one. I guess why not bring out Gilgamesh? We could bring him out in his second form. Hit him with his beam. Great damage. Juice Mob bosses ain’t no problem. But juice mob bosses, you know, they’re used to uh super weapons. Like, look at this. Ready? That music bumping. All right, bring them in. I really wonder what happens if we saw summon in Mars again. Yo, my boy rematch. Damn. Hold on. I got to turn my headphones down. That was loud. Hold left and right mouse button. Okay, I got you right here. But I don’t have Solen with me. Wait, I do have Solen with me. She’s flying with me. So, I got her twice. I mean, we’re doing damage. Not a lot, but damage is damage. Am I like deflecting bro’s missiles back at him? I don’t remember this fight at all. All right. You already know who we’re bringing in. Oh god, this is going to be scary. We could bring in uh Hold up. Let me Let me organize this a little bit better. Ju just bring in Just bring in the Avatar. Just bring him in. Hey, is that Solden? The real Sen or is that fake Sultan? I don’t know. Hey, I have a feeling that this beam is not going to do a lot of damage to something this terrifying. Let’s see though. I mean, it’s doing its usual damage. It’s just kind of We’re fighting one of the scariest bosses in Terraria. But, I mean, it’s all right. Damn it. Like, look, his health is going down slowly. I see a health bar with a question mark. What does that even mean? Who is that? Who’s lurking around? Is somebody lurking around me? Do I got to start firing the laser beam in every direction? Is it this uh tree from the mod? Look. See, I never would have noticed, bro. You put him right here. I wouldn’t have noticed him until I hit him with this beam, though. Oh, until I hit him with his beam, though. Then I would have noticed him. All right. You know who we’re bringing in. Ju just bring bro in. There ain’t much to say. This is This is This is not going to do damage. If it didn’t kill the one before, why would it kill this one? You know what the nameless deity reminds me of? I know it’s supposed to be like a accurate biblical angel or something, but he reminds me of the the dude from Katamari. I don’t remember his name. Is it the king of cosmos? I’ll put his picture on the screen. Every time I see the nameless deity, that’s who I actually see in my head. That’s who’s behind the sensor bar. Yeah, as expected, Solen is now putting a dent into this this beast of a being godly being who literally is using black holes and suns on us. Yeah. But yeah, that was the Solan weapon mod. It’s pretty cool. The My only gripe is it should be way more powerful. It’s a It’s a weapon for pure fun and craziness. Like, look at this. It should be more powerful. You know what I’m saying? Or at least let me have a config option to turn up the damage. I just want to see really quick. Let me chop down a tree. Okay. Like, is the crafting recipe actually just blank at a workbench? Like, we literally just place this down and we could craft it. Yeah. So, since it is just a cheat weapon, there’s no reason for it to be a weak cheat weapon. I got a whole playlist of OP weapons if you need to see some examples. But yeah, still a sick mod either way. This is one of my favorite like laser beams ever. It’s for sure top five giant beams in modded Terraria and there’s a lot of laser beams in there that are pretty good looking. Just watch a couple of my like crazy boss fight videos. 1. 8:15 that music is called "Catastrophes before the Calamity" (Interlude 3) and plays after you defeat Yharon. (you can also buy the music box from the princess who now sells the interlude mbs)

  2. just an fyi for future videos, a lot of calamity bosses and boss servants (and everything thats a worm or serpant.) are immune to damage for a few seconds after spawning, this is to prevent cheap hits from both the boss and the player (or in this case Solyn since shes the one doing all the damage.)
