We’ll still do all of our normal things. You know, we will harvest our coffee, make our money, prepare the farm, uh still work on skills, those kind of things. Uh I do want to get the community upgrades going. Uh so, the first community upgrade we need to do is Pam and Penny’s trailer. Uh then we’ll do the shortcut. Oh, now it dropped back down. Hold on. Uh, so I’m going to try every day to just come up with some kind of a a thing that is about Stardew. We’ll see if I can keep coming up with new things, but I thought it’d be fun. All right, what do we got going on in here? Uh, the mine elevator system has reset and the new dangers have emerged from the deep underground. Make it to the bottom mines in a week. Oh, cool. So, this is the classic hard mode um normal dungeon. That’ll give us something to do. Plus, we need to work combat anyway. So, that’s fun. I like it. And we’ll get our 50 50 gems. I don’t think we get any of our rewards yet. Yeah, I think all this kicks off tomorrow because according to the game, we achieved perfection today cuz we shipped last night. So today was the day we hit perfection. So tomorrow is when all of the stuff should kick in as far as that goes. Got ostrich eggs coming in. Normal eggs coming in. But here’s what we’re going to do just as an experiment because it’s new to with the mod. Let’s go ahead and gear up here and see if we can catch a second legendary fish. I don’t know exactly how this works with the mod, but I believe you have to have a streak of catches in a row and then it opens up the ability, which shouldn’t be too hard. We shouldn’t fail a lot of catches at our level, honestly. All right. So, the glacier fish is right there. There. There’s his little picture. All right. Let’s see what what gives here. We’re going to try it with no Well, that’s it right there. Okay, that was unexpected. All right. Well, let’s keep fishing. Is that all we’re going to catch here? All right. Our tackle wore out. So, let’s go ahead and throw those in. Is it because we haven’t failed on a fish in a very long time? All right, there’s a normal fish. Maybe it was just dumb luck. I thought this would be a multi-hour experiment. I wasn’t expecting to catch two right off the bat. All right, we’ll fish a little bit more here, though. Oh, your makeup looks so good. Oh, very cool. catch it th this far. About to try. The legend is rough, man. That is a tough catch. Um, let me check something. If you want to go, I think, hold on. I got to double check something before I speak. So, I don’t want to misspeak here. Okay. Um, if you want to absolutely max stack your ability to catch the legend, um, obviously if you have the Aridium pole in mastery that helps. Um then you can double I would probably double trap bobber um because then the the things drops a lot less. The other thing that you could do is if you wanted to buff up if you can get access to fishing buff food. Um you could do that. You could also, if you did it during the desert festival, you could go out to the desert festival and get the fishing buff from the food vendor and that buff will stack with your other fishing food buffs, right? Um, so I think it’s a plus three fishing if you get the the shrimp donut, I think. Um, I think that’s the name of it. So, so if you stacked your if you have the master mastery in fishing, the aridium pole, double trap bobbers, the shrimp donut from the desert fest, any other fishing food that you might have, and I don’t I can’t think. I don’t think there’s a fishing drink. Yeah. Yeah. Like if you put double trap bobbers in it, it makes it so when that thing jumps out of your fishing bar, you don’t lose near as much. Um, so it can it can make a big difference. Uh, but that would probably give you your best shot at it. That legend’s a beast, man. That’s a rough catch for sure. Um, but yeah, so it’s I’ve never tried I believe I’ve never tried it. I’m going to assume so I don’t know this for 100%. But I’m going to assume that if you go out to the desert festival and get that food buff, you can leave the desert. I think it’ll stay on. Um, that’d be my best tips. I can’t think of a Let’s see. Fishing food buff. I don’t know. Buffs. Let’s see. Buff. Buff. Buff. I need the fishing. Okay. Fishing buff various food. Yeah, I don’t see. Let’s see. Fence farming, fishing. Everything I see is food. I don’t I can’t think of a drink fishing buff. Otherwise, you could stack that one as well. Yeah, I don’t see a drink one. So, I think but I think if you you went to the desert, stacked that buff with like a chowder or trout soup or seafoam pudding or whatever you can get your hands on, uh, that might make a difference. All right, let’s fish a little bit more. I mean, we caught two legendaries, which is insane. I would have thought we would have had to like fish 10 times in a row before we got even one. There it is again. Thing flies out of the bar so fast that I’d like to try to get an aridium version, but I don’t know that I’m going to be able to hold that cuz that’s three golds. But cuz we have an insanely large fishing bar right now and we’re not even using food buffs. Nope. All right. Well, I’m guessing here then with this with this perk. Yeah, I even smashed the mouse right at the beginning of that. I guess we can just farm legendary fish if we really wanted to. Don’t know if there’s any reason to, but All right. Well, that alters the game a bit. So, that gives us We now have five glacier fish. So, I think we’re going to go ahead and stop. Uh, let’s put this in our rares. They’re all gold. So, the angller, we could potentially try to get a gold angler out of this eventually. That could be interesting. Um, starf fruit wine aged row is good. Truff oil can be good. Um, Z, how are you doing? How are you feeling post first stream? Yeah, starf fruit make can make you some money. It’s a little more work than ancient fruit, but it’s probably better money. Uh, we’re so high level now. We can cast over top of the the whole thing. So, we have to calm it down here a little bit. I’ve never moved a Stardew save over. Um, you should look into I think Stardew saves to the Steam cloud, which theoretically if you started Stardo on the new machine, I think it would pull your saves down once you got it installed. I’m only about 70% sure of that statement though. So, but theoretically, if you turn on the cloud save option in Stardew in Steam, assuming you’re playing in Steam, I guess I don’t know if you’re playing in Steam or not. Oh, yeah, for sure. All the mods and everything, you’d have to do that. It’s worth it though. You have a new toy and we’re all envious. Yeah, it’s all in a single directory. Okay, I must be misremembering that. I thought it had the Let’s see. Stardew. Cuz I thought I turned mine off cuz I I save I do crazy stuff with my saves. Yeah, mine has mine has the ability to turn it on. Uh, Steam Cloud stores information. So, you’re uh keep game saves in the Steam cloud for Stardy Valley. Um, cuz I shut it off because it was causing me problems when I was doing some weird save file hacking crappy stuff. Do you have star drop now or do you do everything manually? I like Star Drop. And I believe you said, did you say you have the subscription to Nexus Mods? Oh yeah, for sure. She loved. Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Because I manipulate everything on my hard drive. That’s why I turned um that’s why I turned the the cloud saving off is it was causing me problems when I was going in and duplicating saves and doing some weird stuff that you’re probably not supposed to do. The cloud save freaked out when I did that. Um, so yeah, if you’re if you have premium Nexus, um, from Nexus, you can if you have Starard Drop installed, you can install right to Star Drop through Nexus. It’s actually pretty convenient. I’m slowly converting all of my manual mods over to the Starrop manage version or the Nexus Starrop manage version, if that makes sense. I like Star Drop. I wish it was a little easier to organize things within it, like put things into favorites or groups or things like that. There is a grouping mechanism, but I played with I didn’t like I couldn’t get it to work right now. There are different profiles that works. So, I use that, but it’s still a big long ugly list. depending on how many mods you have installed in it. It might be maybe it does default off. I don’t know. I know that I had to turn it off at one point. I could probably turn it back on. I haven’t been doing any of that crazy save manipulation, but but I occasionally still do. Like I have backup directories of saves and stuff that I could restore if I needed to. I’ll probably pay for it one of these days. I’ll have some kind of corruption. I’ll lose all my saves and they’ll be like, “Well, you should have had the cloud save on. That’s what it’s for.” And I’ll be like, “I know you’re right.” It’ll just give me an excuse to start over. Okay, we found a seaweed patch evidently. seaweed for as far as the eye can see. 16 seaweed. That’s impressive. I don’t know what that cast was. Well, theoretically, if you’ve manually, even if you’re using Starrop, I know at least for me with Star Drop, I used to manually put all my saves in the directory. So you should be able to pull them from one drive to the other if you have access to all of that. They’re not very big. So I would I mean in theory if you don’t if you’re notworked I don’t know if you guys are have a network in the truck or not. It’s But if you find the save directory or the mod directory inside of Stardew, you could just copy that whole directory onto like a flash drive and then dump it onto the new computer. I’ll admit though, personally, and this is not for everybody, but personally, when I get new hardware, I rarely I rarely copy things over. I almost always It’s like, you know what? This is a chance to just make everything fresh, reinstall things, make sure everything is working in the tiptop fashion. So, I often will manually rebuild just about everything, just out of principle, but I know that’s not everybody’s mentality, and I completely understand if people wouldn’t want to do that. It’s a lot of work. Okay, quit reading chat and fish. I’m going to lose your fish. This has got to be the squiddy one, right? Or sea cucumber. Octopus. Nabed ourselves another octopus. I’m not sure how many years you could maintain such a such a lifestyle, especially cuz half the time I’m sleeping on a dock or in the bottom of a mine or wherever it happens to be. Okay, well that was a pretty good day. We caught four legendary fish. That worked way different than I thought it was going to. I thought it was going to be like a slow grind. You have to catch like 20 fish in a row. Let’s see what the mod says again cuz that was easier. Now, the fishing was still The catches were still difficult, but we spawned a lot more than I thought we were going to. I thought it was going to be like one of those things that you catch one and then you’d have to catch like 20 fish to spawn it again. Uh, let’s see. Let’s Okay. If prestige, legendary fish can be re-encountered. Okay. So far so good. Assuming all standard time and weather conditions apply after 10 success successive successful catches, each subsequent successful catch then increases the encounter rate by 1% or 2% for a perfect catch. Failing any catch resets the streak back to zero. So the only thing I can think of is we haven’t failed on catching a fish in a very long time. So I wonder if in the back end is has we have this successive streak going that let’s say it’s 30 or 40 fish which means we get a really really really high percentage. That’s the only thing I can think of because we popped a lot of those. They dropped really really quick. All right. Well, let’s finish cleaning up our inventory here. Uh, we got another animal cracker. So, we’re back up to four. We could start using those again. Uh, let’s see what we picked up for fish. Mr. Blobfish. All right, we have five of you. Midnight squid. Now, the danger mode, you know, the dangerous version of these does mean we’re going to have harder monsters. So, depending on what you’re trying to do, you might not want to actually spawn more critters, but we want it cuz we want the XP. Um, so we are going to go ahead and do that. and we’re not even going to be in that big of a rush. Woohoo! Pyro for the win. That was crappy shooting. missed. All right. I honestly don’t know if we have I don’t think we’re at a spot where we’ve got a single cr. So, the musk is our friend. Now, we do need we still need 20,000 XP. So, that’s why we are definitely running a little bit of spawn extra monsters slowing us down. Like if we wanted to go quicker, we wouldn’t want to do that. But nasty. It’s nasty. That pyro technician. So, if you’re new to the stream or Oops. So, I guess we could have killed something there, but uh we are running a mod called Walk of Life. And since we are level 20 in mining, we have a prestige class called Pyro Technician. What’s happening is when something blows up, it’ll create a chain reaction explosion to rocks and things around it. And because we have the napalm ring on, every monster that dies blows up and that starts that chain reaction. So that’s what’s going on there. It’s a little It’s arguably OP, but from the mod’s perspective, we have done, let’s see, 1530. I figured this out the other day. 15 30 60. So we went through all the professions four times. So that’s 60,000 XP. And then prestige is 50,000. So we’ve done 110,000 if I did that math right. So, we’ve earned some crazy. That’s all I’m saying. That one was pretty cool. So, not only is it chain reacting off of the the stones, it’s chain reacting off of the critters as well. I do love the hammer. Um, my first Jojo run, we ran the hammer. Uh, I just haven’t switched to it in this playthrough. Hammer might be my favorite weapon actually. I like less hits but but hit big. I like that as a general general flow. I’m still using my sword a lot. I need to switch over. I was trying to do this build as like a ranged build, but it’s still hard to remember to use my slingshot. Not to mention the fact that my my arrow kills things so fast that it’s hard to actually get a shot in sometimes. So, my my quivers are doing the heavy lifting. Hey, queen gem. But I do like the my build on my other guy was I had the artful mod or the artful enhancement and then I had the acrobat skill and so it cut my my secondary thing down to pretty fast. Um, then I put the three speed enhancement buffs on it through the enchantments. And so its primary would swing as fast as a sword and its secondary would hit really really often. And then that was my hammer build. I loved it. It was pretty pretty effective actually. All right. Well, it’s almost 5:00. We’re almost level 15. So, truth of the matter is we’ll go back to the night market. I don’t think we’re going to rush there and do the fishing again. We don’t really need to. So, let’s see if we can drop five more levels here. See if we can get to level 20. Boom. We got one squid. Squiddy. Squiddy. Squiddy. Oh, I don’t know how this is going to work. I like the ice rod cuz it’ll it’ll freeze the monster and then I can come up to the monster and drop that secondary attack on it. That’s fun. I’m trying to think which one I ran the most on my hammer build. I think it was mostly the the ice rod if I remember right. And then depending on how greedy you are, um you need the money and you want to give up some of the offense or defense, running the parrot is nice. To me, Age of Empires 2 is arguably, you can make a case for Starcraft, but Age of Empires 2 is probably the pinnacle of competitive RP or RTS games. Um, it is insanely at least from a competitive standpoint, right? Age of Empires 2, Age of Kings expansion specifically was probably my alltime one of my all-time favorites. I really enjoyed Starcraft. I enjoyed the Warcraft games. Um, and I would I would probably play him again. But yeah, I would put Age of Empires above Warcraft. Um, I’d probably even put Starcraft above Warcraft. I really like Starcraft as well. Um, the balance in Starcraft is really insane to take three diverse cultural play styles and make them work. Oh, for sure. We used to play Age of Empires 2. I had a core group of friends. Uh we’d play every every Saturday night we would get together and play epic battles in Age of Empires 2. Uh one of my favorite little things is we had installed Monty Python Holy Grail taunts. So we replaced all the stock taunts with MontiPython taunts so that we could taunt each other with with Holy Grail quotes. That was fun. Let’s be clear though, I am an average RTS player at best. I was good in my small little group, but I I man online play, those people are really good. All right. Well, we got everything through everything quicker than I thought we would. So I might have missed it but in one of the saves text should appear the morning after perfection is achieved saying you feel in your heart somewhere somehow grandpa is beaming with pride the legacy of in our case Joja extreme farm is eternal. Um okay a message appears the morning after perfection is achieved saying a rumbling sound was heard in the distance unlocks the summit. Uh there is a cut scene link to that. Uh we’re not going to watch it right now. We’ll do it kind of as one of the last things that we do, but this is now open. Uh, so we can go there. A flock of Ginger Island parrots flies over the farm. We probably missed that in all of our teleporting around. So, that’s something to keep an eye out for. The statue of true perfection is unlocked. Obtained by interacting with the perfection trapper. That’s what we just got. Um, I believe this one gives aridium ore, right? Or does it give the Nope. This is the one that gives a prismatic shard. So, it’s one prismatic shard every day. Uh, which is arguably pretty powerful. Um, where would we put it? All of our prismatic shards are in there. Gems and minerals. So if we stick it in here, theoretically, it should stack into those. But for whatever reason, we went to Cinder Sap first and the beach and the backwoods and all that. And it took us half the day to find it. If you reset that day and then grab the butter or grab the statue again, the butterfly will be in the same area on that day. Now, the next time it spawns, it’ll be in a different spot, but on that day, it will actually be in the same area. So, you can just go grab it. And then at that point, you can get a lot more done in your day. So that’s what I normally do just to maximize our time. I was watching somebody play the other day and I am a true believer in play the way you want to play, right? Like no wrong way to play Stardew. That being said, I was amazed that they would play, it would be like 4:00 in the afternoon, they still had plenty of energy left and they’d be like, “Okay, I’m going to bed for the to move on to the next day.” And I’m just like, what? How? You’re killing me. I can barely make it home to sleep. I’m usually pushing my luck so much. All right. More forage, please. I’m foraging my life away. And we leveled. All right. 50,000. We only need 15,000 more experience, which is honestly not bad. 15,000 is how much XP it takes you to go from 0 to 10 in the normal playthrough. So, we basically just have to level foraging one more time or the equivalent of it. Now, for us, that’ll be three levels, you know. So, we need the same amount of XP as 10 levels. We’re just going to do it in three. Oh, for sure. I’ve seen speedrunners do that. Yeah. Just like they have a certain task they want to get done. I was watching one guy play and like he would reset over and over and over again because he was trying for like a certain thing and like yeah the first couple of days he would mostly just water his crops and go to bed, water his crops and go to bed. Then he would go to the mine on a certain day and if he didn’t get to a certain depth I respect people who can play that way. I can’t get myself to do it. Um, got my spreadsheets. If you got your spreadsheets, you’re good to go. So, yeah, I have mad respect for people who can put that kind of a playthrough together, but I don’t know that I could do that. That’s that’s intense. I like to think of myself as pseudoefficient. Like I know decent ways to get stuff done, but nowhere near that of like a speedrunner. That’s that’s a whole another level of impressive. Like what is he trying to speedrun to? Because like I said, he would he would just keep resetting over and over and over again. We could just starfruit the Junimo huts and then we’d probably get it a little quicker. Uh, and then just make all Starfruit wine instead. Maybe we do that. We’ll see. Uh, we have 12 Junimo plots full of winter seeds, which this just should be a ginormous XP farm for foraging. So, I think on Tuesday of next stream, this is going to level us. So, we’ll have all of our skills at 20. Then, our final challenge challenge is going to be to hit 100 million gold. Um, we could do that. That might be a good challenge. Try to get try to get an aridium quality glacier fish. Um, we could probably do that. I’m up for it. Uh, so let’s say fishing glacier fish. All right. Fishing. Aridium quality glacier fish. So, right now we’re looking at for tomorrow’s screen stream, I think we’ll try to fish up an aridium quality glacier fish or five. Um, we’ll obviously will get the the foraging. So, we’ll get that done. Biome balance. That’s about it, honestly. And then we’ll play it by ear after that. All right, let’s head north. Unless all of the purchases I’ve made on the Joa um online thing maybe counts as a traveling cart cuz I spent a lot of money there. That’s a possibility. Oh, cool. The beast made it in as well. Nice. All right. That’s kind of cool that the mod was able to get them into the the end credits. That’s that’s testimony for the the modding environment the Stardew does have. Um is that you know this is this could be pre-animated, but it’s dynamic enough to be able to add stuff to it. That’s actually pretty cool. Yeah, that makes sense. Uh cuz I don’t think I’ve seen a pig with a gold thing on his back before. Now I’ve only hit perfection like this is only like the third time, I think. So third or fourth, I can’t remember. All right, we didn’t add any monsters, so that shouldn’t change this. Yeah, like I said, I don’t think any of our mods added any creatures or monsters or anything like that, so this should all be pretty much normal. It’s been a long road. You challenge yourself to reach the summit. What an accomplishment. We’ve been watching every step of the way and you’ve made us very proud. Thanks, Grandpa. Um, I did a post today and I looked it up and at least in the Steam achievements, 22% of people have the community center completion achievement and 6% have the Joa completion achievement. Um, Joa is pretty low on the list. There are there’s probably 10 12 achievements that have a lower percentage like perfection is lower uh stuff like that, but it was actually pretty low. Timmy God in the starter universe. That’s an interesting head cannon. I think, like I said, I think we talked about it last last stream or the stream before. I’d play a prequel to Stardew where you either play as Grandpa or you pal around with Grandpa and um and Mr. Qui. And you know, again, you’re doing quests like setting up the mastery cave and, you know, putting things into the mines and building out the mystery box system. Like all of the things that happen in Stardew had to h be built or made somehow. Um, playing a game where you actually do all that stuff would be a lot of fun, actually. Good script for data e for sure. All right. Well, let’s go ahead and get everything kind of wrapped up. I have not looked for raid targets yet. So, let’s do that next.
