Welcome back, Indie Game Fax, to our continuing let’s play of Stardy Valley. Today I’ve got a different visitor. Come on, son. Artemis had come to say hi this morning. Unfortunately for him, I’ve got a video to record, so we’ll cut her later, buddy. All right. I hope you all are doing well. I just finished having breakfast and uh yeah, we are on uh episode 100 of this let’s play, which is wild to think about that I have been uploading these for 100 days now. All right, so let’s review. We’ve got the largemouth bass. I didn’t make it to Joey’s house at 7:00. I got there at 7:30 and apparently that’s too late for them to eat dinner. So, we will try to be there at exactly 7:00 today to finish off that quest. Uh, the other thing is we’ve got the 10 diamonds in the inventory specifically for the volcano, so I can trade it in for the skill books. That way, when I break regular rocks with my pickaxe, I have a small chance to get diamonds. And then, while I was taking a shower this morning, I was thinking about things. And um I was thinking that what I’m going to end up doing is moving the mahogany tree forest. I know I just kind of like got that set up over there in that bottom corner. Uh we’ll go take a look at it and I’ll explain what I plan to do with it. Then uh let’s go check on all of our production stuff first. Get our daily routine out of the way. We do have our strawberries ready for harvest today. Oh, we got one of we got uh two more of our trees fully grown. Uh the rest will be ready in 13 days. We got one day and two day on the slime hearts. And we got 4 days on the sweet gems and two days on the fire peppers. Ah, that music’s so good. I need to change my uh jukebox music to that. All right, so the row is still cooking. One second. I got to play the spring music. done with this. Uh I either want spring or I want No, I don’t want to do random because of unfortunately that uh copyrighted song, but we’ll look for the spring music. There’s summer. Okay, spring. All right, we’ll take it. Unfortunately, it’s going to reset every time we go in and out of a building right now. All right, so we got a couple of days left on the strawberry wine. I do still need to get honey for the octopus row. We do have the house set up, though. All right, the lava eels wants three fire quartz. I don’t know if I currently have three fire quartz. Uh if I don’t, that might be something to keep an eye out for when we go to the volcano. Make sure we get fire quartz. Okay. So, what I’m thinking of for over here is turning this into a mini maze. um like a hedge maze by using the large variety of uh bushes and shrubs that are fruit producing that Pierre’s now selling. Uh buying a bunch of those and making a like hedge maze out of those in this area and in the middle putting the fountain teleporter that goes to the fountain in uh the town. It because it’s not one that I’m going to use like ever. I don’t need to teleport from here to so close. Um as the fountain just over by the park there. Uh however, it would make a really nice centerpiece for something like a hedge maze. I think let me know go what you guys think about that idea down in the comments. I think that would be a really nice uh aesthetically pleasing thing to do with this plot right here. Uh, it would also give me a reason to have all of those berry bushes cuz I was thinking about where else on the farm I could put them. Um, and I couldn’t really come up with a good idea for all of those varieties of bushes. So, I think incorporating them and mixing them throughout the maze um, so that they flower different sections of the maze throughout the year would be a really nice way to make use of them. Um, it would require moving our mahogany farm, but I’m thinking of moving it either to Ginger Island or one of the other ones. Uh, yeah, that’s what I’m thinking about doing with it. All right. Also, we need to make sure we visit Robin today. Also, our new dinosaur should be hatched today. Let’s go find out. Wait, what the Oh, the train contents. I I didn’t mean to walk back out the door. I saw the pop-up message of the train contents and I accidentally hit down. All right, just some stone and geodess. Where’s the other row going right now? Ah, here it is. I’ll throw this cucumber row in here for now. I definitely still need to get the um shed for my production room and my production and storage room. What I’m probably going to do is remove these coffee plants and put the shed right here. Like I’ll take this stuff all out. Uh drop the shed here, make a path that goes around in between the shed and the bin to go up here to the tunnel or to the where my mine carts are for around the farm. And then we’ll probably end up moving the tractor building again. Uh, with the shed there, I might move the tractor somewhere. I don’t know where I’m going to put the tractor building. It’s so hard to figure out that one. All right, so let’s go visit Robin first. I put the diamonds away on accident. The downside to auto sorting. All right. So, we’ll go get Robin to upgrade the shed next to our um ancient fruit. Oh, cut scene with Sterling. Is that who that is? No. No. Yeah, it is Sterling. Okay. The band-aid on the nose threw me off seeing it on his pixel art character. I was like, is that supposed to be glasses? I couldn’t tell. How are you doing, sweet face? Enjoying the night breeze? Sterling is such a confidently gay man. It’s always entertaining seeing his dialogue. Sterling, get out of the way. Scared of some trains in the distance, dude. Get off the tracks. I’m trying to be cool. That is not good. Take a sip of water. Stay hydrated, guys. Uh-oh. Moon slime cooking strawberry pie. Hey, look at that. We got a strawberry pie. That’s a terror item. Oh. Oh, there we go. Cherry berry shaky. Plus two speed, plus one attack. That’s a pretty good drink. All right. Uh, farm buildings. I need you to upgrade my Oh, wait. We need to go up. No, wait. It is this. And then we got to go to Okay. No, I do need to just pick it. Big shed. That’s what I was thinking of. There we go. Um, yeah, we’re going to rush it. I got things to do, people to thank. See, what’s up, Brendon? Mia was home when I went over to the Cooper place for some work. We got to talking and it turns out we have some really neat things in common. Okay. You can have the last of my aridium quality ones. All right. So, next up, we’re going to head to Ginger Island. I want to pick up some bombs first, though. So, let’s go check on the tunnel. the Russell. So many snails about um we’ll go buy from the dwarf. What’s up, plants? You know who I haven’t been visiting lately is the um is Crobus. I have not been visiting Crobus. I really need to do that. This is a rare crow. I think I already have this one though. I’m pretty sure. and it’s one that he regularly sells, so I’m not going to buy it right now. Uh, but I’ll have to check. I’ll double check to see if this is one that I do indeed have. And we’ll take the flooring as well. All right, good enough. This could be planted to grow a ginger island sapadilla tree. That’s a specific type of tree. I’m going to go ahead and buy some seeds. Uh because it’s a tree seed. I do want to figure out how to make the mushroom stumps. Winter wormwood seeds. Plant these in the winter. Takes 8 days. Okay. A different type of mushroom. Since the mushroom stumps are all seasonal, more than likely what I’ll do is I’ll build another orchard building. I’m going to do the same thing with all the variety of trees that there are. I’m going to build more of those orchard sheds, uh, orchard green houses, and then plant the varieties in them. Uh, so that way we can collect all of them from those structures, uh, throughout the year rather than just during those specific seasons. Uh, similar to what we’re doing for our fermented uh, requires four purple fern turnups. I have to have these to get Jensen seeds. Interesting. Yeah, I’m going to do that. Uh the orchards with those. What I’ll probably end up doing is building them on like different types of farms like the meadow farm that my I apparently have. Uh let’s see. Where is it? I don’t even know if I have the ability to go there yet. So, we got Aurora Island and Caldera and the um regular one. Aurora we haven’t unlocked yet. I don’t think I can start doing Aurora until later. The Aurora vineyard. Um although that would be a pretty good place to put some of those orchard buildings. Uh cuz I don’t need the full or uh vineyard field for growing wine. Um although we will use a nice chunk of it for that. Okay. Anyways, um let’s go to the island cave and let’s go run the caldera. Oh, there’s so many dig spots here, too, which is good. I can’t believe I got a treasure chest from that. All right, six fossilized legs. Those will be useful. The book we can possibly trade in. Uh palm fossils and artifact. Oh my god, I picked up so much stuff here. Uh, we’ll get rid of the fiber, the coal, bones are decent. I’m going to head back to the farm and clean up my inventory before I go run the volcano. So, I don’t have any room to pick stuff up there. Much better. How do I not have the blue jazz yet? I don’t know. And I put away the diamonds. Get back in there. All right. Um, so the bones be turned into fertilizer. Uh, these trees I might run down and plant right now and then we’ll go run the volcano. I did not mean to put away the largemouth bass. Where do I even have largemouth bass? In the other fridge. Must be in this one. Yep. What I was trying to do is put these in here. All right, let’s go plant these seeds and then we’ll head back to the volcano. Hi, little dino. All right, that’s a pine tree that spread from this row. There we go. We do need the fire quartz. I’ll see if we have them while we’re there. Actually, let’s check our chest here real quick. We only have one. So, we need two more fire quartz. there. Made sure I didn’t auto filter and put the the diamonds away again. Wait, do I have my watering can on me? No, I do not need that. All right. Still doesn’t leave a lot of free room now because we have so many different items on us, but I’ll try and cut that down again in the future to where I’m not carrying so much. Song always just makes me want to move. All right. Rainy day. Perfect. We’re going indoors. You want to try me? Get out of here. So, our focus is going to be on um star shards and uh fire quartz. Those are the things I want to see the most of. Okay, we got soul sapper ring out of the chest. Ah, I can’t reach him. I got real excited there. I thought those might be gold carrots for a second. I was like, did I just get multiple gold carrots? No. Not that lucky. How did I not hit him there? Whatever game. Soon as I saw this place, I knew I had to go inside it. Oh, come on. There’s not even a chest in here. Oh, there is on the far side. Just had to go around to here to go back to here. Reach it. You also need a watering can to reach it. There better be some good in this chest. It’s one of the more difficult ones to get at. Ooh. Uh, we got journal scrap here, so we can take that out. Was a raindrrench day, and upon a lonely rock a beautiful maiden saw eye. Tales I’d heard of seaborn maidens singing siren songs. Yet n a note could she muster. The next morning I spied an arrangement of stone upon the foamy bank. I stones as big as ones and stones as big as what? As fives were they? But if but this harried sea dog a tune could howl. Perhaps the black goal’s treasure she treasure would she lead. This is actually a clue uh for one of the puzzles on the island. Uh we’re we’ll we’ll go back into that in a little bit or next time. All right. A couple of cinder shards could have been better, but we’ll take a couple of cinder shards. Wrong. Wrong tool. I’m not fishing for these guys. That’s a dead end. All right, we got 1 hour till the dinner time. So, I’m going to hurry up and get to that fifth floor with the dwarf so we can get the book for the skill cuz we need to get back to the mainland by 7 uh before 7:00. Where’s the door? Um, what the hell? It’s through there. Oh, I’m an idiot. Just through the other side. Duh. Oh, I’m not going to make seven. Darn it. I’m sorry, Jody. Have to miss out on our dinner plans again. Till tomorrow. I got stuck in this volcano too long. Oh my gosh. Um, yeah, there’s no way I’m making it in 10 minutes. I still have to get through another floor of this place to get the book. That’s all right. At least we’ll get the book done and then I won’t have to feel like I’m also still working on that. So, I’ve been working on this for a while, trying to get the book. Have I gotten any fire quartz? No, I haven’t. So, this is not a great place for getting fire quartz, but it is where I can get I can’t get the book even though I’m getting rid of the diamonds until I had an empty space. That’s annoying. All right, so we’ve learned a new power. We now have the diamond hunter. We still have several skill books to pick up. All right. So, this is where we’re going to go ahead and take the shortcut out. I don’t need to keep climbing today. So, since we could not get to dinner in time, we’re going to do our other mission of getting the fire quartz. How are we doing on this? 820,000 to get the rest of the golden walnuts. I might honestly just um pay that off eventually if we can get enough money if I don’t find uh more of the golden walnuts soon. So, what we’re going to do is we’re going to do a quick trip back to the farm to clean out the inventory. And we’ve got a couple minutes left, so we’ll run to the regular mines to get the fire quartz. That’s all right. You can have my largemouth bass for now. Although, which chest did it go into? Oh man, we actually have quite a lot of largemouth bass. We got several here. We got several in the house. Why do I not have white algae or ginger? They must both be in the fridge already and the curiosity lure can go with that one. All right, so let’s go put these two things in the fridge and we will head back out for a quick trip to the mines. Bring back the fish. We got to feed our lava eels. What’s up, Matteo? A little late to get started down here tonight, isn’t it? Sorry, man. I don’t have enough time this morning to uh do that cut scene. Oh my god. Secret note. What do we got? If you can read this, come to the secret. Okay. I had to get this to get the bear to spawn in the secret woods. That was the problem. That’s why he hadn’t shown up yet. Even though we had gotten the maple syrup from the bear’s entryway, we had to do this in order to get access to the bear shop. Uh, which this should allow us to get honey, which will allow us to increase the population of our squid or octopus pond. All right, let’s see if we can find some fire quartz today. That’s some regular quartz. Uh, nope. None here. Not here to collect obsidian right now. Although that is a slime with an item. What do you got? Slime. He had the sledger or the slammer. Uh, diamond. I need fire quartz. Another secret note. Have you found my secret in the dark tunnel? I look forward to meeting you, Key. Have we done the tunnel quest line yet for Key? I think we did that really early on. All right, we got one fire quartz from a bin. I guess we’ll have to search all those we come across as well now. Uh, no fire quartz. We’ll kill these guys though for the quick uh ladder. Also, we’re farming uh solar essence off the helmet bros, too. All right, we got the fire quartz we needed. Threaten in Leah’s handwriting. My idea for a perfect dinner would be salad, goat cheese, truffle, and wine. For dessert, I’d need a poppy seed muffin. Yum. Gave me one of those things. I’d melt. Yeah, those are her loved items. All right, back to the farm. Obsidian will sell. And then we take the fire quartz down to our fire grid or fire uh Hey, there we go. Now we can go from one to three. Expand that population. Make me money. All right, real quick. We’ll take the rest of the bones, get them processing. The wood is from the scrap over here. Do we have any more scrap items here? Any junk items? No. Any junk items? Yes, we have newspapers and glasses here. Uh, I’ll start processing newspapers. Those have a chance of turning into cloth, which is not only a valuable item, but also used in clothes making and for some other stuff as well. All right, so those are all processing and that’s going to have to be it for today cuz I’ve got to run and it’s also getting late. Sure. I made a little bit of money. Just a little bit. Just 1,000 or 1,100. It’s all a process though. It’s all process guys. Everything adds up. All cumulative. Come on. Load the next day, please. There we go. All right, guys.
