from the start of the video, i haven't watched through:
titanium armor is fine rn, if you want to improve your gear look to better weapons/accessories from there.
your next major armor upgrade will come after killing the mechanical bosses
edit: hardmode goblin army.. you might get shadowflame knives, one of my personal favorite melee weapons!

I hope he uses the bananarang (after reforging) lol because he's missing out on a lot of DPS and survivability
When u complete the base game, u should take a look at terraria mode called Calamity. It expandes the game a lot (new bosses, gear, more stuff after final boss)
Only one thing I will say is that turn that frozen feather into frost wings
They are overall one of the best early hard mode wings that the game has to offer
Like I ran frost wings all the way up until the last boss of the game
Pls tell him about the ironskin potion and reforging
