  1. I havent even watched the video and I just want to tell you thank you for being awesome and making videos on my favorite game

  2. I have better weapons but I keep a starfurry on me to light up caves when spelunking. It’s extremely useful~

Just click the bottom of your screen in small increments and you’ll find any near by openings.

  3. 8:10 can we just talk about how crazy that house is, bast statue, star statue, loom (because i always forget to craft one), 2 chandeleirs and a damn queen statue

also there is tech with the king and queen statues but its pretty nieche, bassically if you are setting up pylons and move the wrong npc's into a house and they wont leave because its day you can force them somewhere else with them

  4. ye, wooden platforms rock! you can put them just around everywhere, grass, hives, vines, trees, you can dodge enemies with this.. Literally super versatile! You can Dye your stings to add them to your accessory items so rainbow strings can get you… IDK… 6×4 = 24 defense?

  5. I’d like to add something to the Starfury’s list of techniques: If you use lock-on, it doesn’t seem to have a distance limit. Combine this with 1 point of piercing from the star, and you can just lock into the Wall of Flesh and run away with a Minecart to hit it from across Hell, cheesing the boss entirely.

  6. A secret Tech that not many people would use since its post moonlord is that when you hold the portal gun, you fall SUPER fast. So if youre doing a modded run like calamity and you wanna get to the bottom of your hellevator quickly, whip out the portal gun and youll be at the bottom of the world in like 5 seconds

  7. ive got a small tip for ur vids if u want, if u split the vid up into sections on the time bar thingy so its split up into like star fury first, then platforms next etc. , itll make it easier for people to navigate the vid, i hope u have a great day :3

  8. One thing I will say about the Starfury and using it for light in the early game, be VERY careful if you try to use it in the Underground Jungle, I’ve been in situations before where I tried to use it for that and accidentally broke a larva that was off screen and got immediately murked by Queen Bee

  9. And what about the slime? I mean, thanks for the rest, but going vertical on grass with the slime mount would be weird and fun.

So it was just clickbait huh. Dis-a-point-EEEEEEDDDDD!

  10. 2:34 Honestly the best part is the fact the devs no only leaving this is but actually making it better. Hoyking use to only work in 1 directing. The devs fixed that. All the other things that came of it was just a bonus.

  11. Can't u also use platforms for fast travel? U can combine this "wall clipping" glitch with another glitch name of which i forget to move at speed of light? It's like a railway but faster aaand… kinda harder to make. At least u need more time than just place down some rails. Was it fixed or smth? Also I think enemies actually CAN pass through this walls with platforms. I saw them doing it a lot in invasions, though can't say for sure cause my game was slightly modded when this occurred

  12. I feel the meteor staff is better at what the starfury does since the embers light up way more area like yeah it may be a hard mode staff but it's definitely better at that than starfury

  13. I love how with just platforms, blocks and a hammer you literally can make a door that makes standard walking mobs just fall through the floor

  14. if you ever need to build a long wall quickly you can use the snake charmer flute and save the effort of having to place blocks on top of each other

if you need an air pocket under the ocean you can use the dirt rod to place dirt under your feet then dig down

  15. something i like to do with grappling hooks is to launch it into the ground and pressing the spacebar right before I reach the hook. A great way to build up speed to enable the hermes boots.

  16. one of my favourites is placing the Alchemy Table near the Shimmer to make unlimited potions. Make a bunch of a potion, then throw the stack into the Shimmer to get the ingredients back. Then make more from the Alchemy Table, giving you a 1/3 chance to not consume an ingredient. Rinse and repeat as needed.

  17. tip for finding sky islands. if you find a small puddle on the ground, its likely from the water running off a sky island when the "liquids settled" in the world. next time you see a puddle, use rope to pillar up and youll likely find a sky island

  18. Remember when you could almost instantly kill any boss with the slime mount by putting yourself between a ceiling and a boss?

    I miss that feature…

  19. Honestly, there's quite a few more techs you can do with hooks.
Crazy speed launching, tons of advanced tech with multi-hook hooks, (notably including some rather unique arenas that become insanely useful when playing modded), and iirc, there's even a way to consistently clip through stuff with certain hooks in a slightly different way from traditional hoik clipping, though it really only comes in handy for cheesing/skipping certain mod structures.

Another thing that should be noted for platforms is… platforms counting as doors. Some people surprisingly don't know this, but for npc houses, you don't actually need proper doors, just platforms.

  20. I’d watch more of this. Although I’d note that the platform tech felt more like a glitch, whereas the starfury points felt like unintended good strats, as did the 1x grapple hook tunnels
