Terraria’s NPCs are one of the most important parts of the game, but with there being so many of them, and each of them having their own benefits and needs, it can be hard to figure everything out yourself without digging through the wiki all of the time. So that’s why in this video, I not go over how to get each of the npcs, but I also go over everything you need to know about each of them.

For anyone curious on what's (the best) my favorite way to have them living:
Forest: Golfer, Zoologist and 25 blocks from them the Merchant
Desert: Dye Trader and Stylist
Snow: Goblin Tinkerer, Mechanic, and 25 blocks from them Steampunker and Cyborg
Jungle: Dryad, Witch Doctor and 25 blocks from them Painter
Beach: Angler and Pirate
Mushroom: Truffle and Guide
Underworld/Caverns/Underworld: Demolitionist, Tavernkeeper and 25 blocks from them Clothier and Tax Collector
Hallow: Party Girl, Wizard and 25 blocks from them Nurse and Arms Dealer
With the slimes now every town can have pets.
Bonus fact: The Arms Dealer will sell you any pylon of the biome he's in, as long as he's with the Nurse, make sure there are no other npcs.
Edit: Princess can go anywhere
