I mean it looks stunning but the collab feels weird to me 😂

The collab is weird, but it must have been in the works for months. It looks like the announcement coincided with Gamescon. The only thing I really want is a Junimo cloak for Momo, so I can have JuniMomo! lol. It would be cool to have a Junimo help us around the garden. I’m staying open-minded and waiting to see what they do. But Infold will be Infold and I’m sure a lot of aspects will be monetized for the house and garden. Infinity Nikki is one of those games that I still enjoy but can’t recommend to anyone to play. I don’t know if Infold will really be able to recover. There’s still so much they need to fix. They need to communicate better, hire translators and cultural consultants. Will they do that, time will tell.

Thanks for the information jade. Personally i have not played Nikki in months because off the money grab. Stardew valley is not a game for me. I hate pixal games. It hurts my eyes and head if i play them. Dont get why they are doing it. Stardew is still going strong, Nikki not so much. I think it is the only way to get some hype for Nikki. And make the game relaved again.

I loved Infinity Nikki when it first came out. It was beautiful and seemed thoughtful and I let it grab some of my money. I gave up when they retconned it. I just couldn't overlook that. It was like they destroyed the game for no good reason. Since this is a one way collaboration, I don't think it will do any damage to Stardew Valley. Concerned Ape is established by now and is known to love his creation and respect his fan base. Thanks for another great video Jade! I've missed seeing you!

To be honest I don't get why Eric Barone agreed to do a collab with infinity nikki. Stardew valley have some takes on capitalism so collabing with IN feels wrong, becaouse it is a gacha game and gacha games are know for being predatory towards their public and being a cash grab. And don't get me wrong I support Eric Barone and I think he is one of the best developers in the industry right now and he is really transparent with his fans and shares updates of the game tha he is working on (ironic since IN is know for not being transparent with thefanbase and sharing the trailer for the banners and the trailer of the new update just one or two days prior). I just can't wrap my head around it.

Also I still play IN and the only money that I have spend in the game was 1 euro for the offer on sterallite (I hope thats how is writen) but I have keep playing because it really doesn't take much time out of my day because IT IS MONOTONE AS F*CK RIGHT NOW, the updates just have events with boring storys that don't add anything to the main story or to enrich the world, except for the updates that add a new place to the map. So in a new update I would log in do my dailies and get the daily rewards fron the update and I would keep doing that until all the chapters of the story and all the things from the event aren't locked up, then I would do all the chapters of the story (and even though they are boring stories most of the time I would read them) and do all the other things from the event on one day so I can go back to just playing 20 minut every day because there is nothing interesting about the game right now, I would even say that the most interesting thing about IN right now are it's controversies and that's sad for a video game.

Sorry for the rant I'm really mad about this game right now, also if in the stardew collab we don't get an outfit at least, maybe I rage quit the game for good cus let's be for real you can't do a collab with a dress up game that doesn't have at least ONE outfit.
