Did you know you can shimmer pumpkins into cactus?
Didn't you have access to stone from the stone walls spawned with exoclusters?
Though it doesn't really matter since exoclusters & shimmer are both unlocked at the same time.

This was a fun series and now I'm curious about what the minimum starting blocks/items are necessary to be able to beat every boss in calamity, and not just Scal + most of the others.
This series has been extremely entertaining, but there is one thing that has infuriated me the whole time, the Clothier sells Dungeon blocks which you could've shimmered to get unsafe dungeon walls and made an actual artificial dungeon, so you could've fought Ceaseless Void and Polterghast, been able to get Necroplasm much easier, and could've gotten Auric Armor

It looked like you might've just been able to get the sunken sea prisms using ultra bright torches rather than the convoluted crafting chain in that list you showed
Saying that you now have access to “Stone” post-moonlord is crazy.

cant you summon giant clam since you have the biome already?
pretty sure you could also summon eater of worlds with a custom corruption. honestly with shimmer i think its possible to kill every prehardmode boss.

Even though I always watch these videos, something about the thumbnail made my eyes completely skim over it only see the terraria guy on the left several times

You know, this video got me thinking. You’ve shown the minimum you need to beat the final boss, but how much would you have to add to be able to kill every boss?
