This is an awesome announcement! Super excited to see what changes we’ll get with 1.7! I’d love ti maybe see some more crops, like maybe some from our world from different continents but tailored to the SV world? Or more fruit trees!

I admit, I shrugged off that last video about the possibility of a 1.7 update. I was convinced it wouldn't happen.
I stand corrected; I should never have doubted you. Lol. Somehow, your predictions always hit the target.
I think it's time for Stardew Valley to be retired from updates. After a certain point, the daily grind becomes tedious, and the endgame loop feels pointless. I've tried to spice things up with mods, but they don't quite capture the magic of discovering a new game. I'm ready for the creator to move on and dedicate his energy to a new game that can offer a fresh and exciting experience

Honestly I’m just excited that this game continues to get updates…for free! I can’t really think of anything in particular I would like because I enjoy the surprises of things I never expected but…I would like a autograbber for truffles. I know you can get one with mods but for those who can’t play with mods or don’t want to use them, that would be ace.
I want more farm options in 1.7. I’m a console player so I’d like ones I’ve seen modes. A tiny farm and a huuuuge one mainly. Maybe a tractor for late game.

Not honestly excited, the things I'd like to see aren't going to be things implemented. Adding new crops, recipes, fish, or other items are all meh to me. I honestly don't want more of that. I don't mind more décor though. Things I want are more explorable areas, for time to actually pass like George, Evelyn, Linus and Lewis dying from old age. Having the other marriage candidates marrying – but you can control that some by being a match-maker and helping encourage certain relationships (I saw a mod for this a while back and loved Haley and Shane becoming a couple.) I know I'm in the same boat with others in wanting my kids to be able to do more/grow up. I'd love to see them going to school with Penny and eventually taking the bus to go to Zuzu City for college. I know unpopularly that I want aged wine nerfed, I've seen far too many videos where that's all anyone ever does for "end game" money making, no one does anything different.
I think if it were to be released this year then he would have more to tell us. I think it would be interesting if we had new farm buildings or if there improvements to the slime hutch. They did make it smaller last time, so they know it wasn't worth the space that it took, but I'd say it's still a bit lack luster. I'd kinda like to see something that brings attention back to our home farm, as right now I feel like the ginger island farm is so OP it's hard to come home to my wife and visit with my friends in town…

maybe a new travelling trader, I.E, clothes trader, like the book trader, new crops, new animals, precisely for Ginger Island or the desert, kids able to grow up or do jobs round the farm like feeding animals or watering the crops

I would love to see some, if not all of the features of the UI info suite mod put into the game.
I would love to see chidren age up and be given farm tasks.
I would love to see quests to expand the town. Specifically a school, but there are lots of other things as well.
Lastly, some sort of after perfection reason to keep playing. Not sure what that would look like, but something like opening a large scale delivery service from your farm. We all spend years develping efficient layouts for our farms and then when we reach perfection, none of it is needed. I would love a reason to stockpile everything to fulfill orders or something.

I’d like to be able to talk to the librarian. Man is the only resident not showing up to the festivals, even the wizard and Marlon show up. Gunther deserves a life outside the library!

A new farm map would be awesome. Maybe some new artisan products or crops as well ^_^
It would be nice to see some of Stardew Valley's Expanded Content added to the vanilla game, such as endgame content and Valley decor. I really like how the expanded mod did the layout of Stardew. I would also like to see the Farmer Children mod and the Date Night mod added to the game. That's neat to see

For me I hope the pool of marriage candidates increases. I'd really love to see something like market day in the vanilla game. Making whether you choose the community center or Joja have more meaning. Like Joja specific events for siding with them & vice versa. I know it wouldn't happen but I'd love to see SDV expanded come to the base game. At least in part. I had more ideas but these are the main ones

Dont get me wrong, I like SV, but I consider more important to expand the frontiers doing something new. Its seems that Haunted Chocolatier has enter to a "development hell", where, everytime CA, is tired/blocked of this project, he come back to the old SV. At this rate, we never gonna have a new game from this developer, and is a pity because he is capable to launch awesome games.
