  1. Wait, you don't use the cold feed box? Should I just not be using it then? I hate dedicating a pal to it to cool things, I just assumed it was much better. Also, not that it makes that much difference as you wouldn't be doing it a lot but, do you use the cold crusher for changing pal souls in to lesser/greater forms?

  2. Don't forget to support your local Pal Merchant. Great way to get good Pals at low levels, as long as you can find a source of money. Black Marketeer Barbeque is still a good trick, or now selling flowers from dungeons. Both great early game income.

  3. its more expensive but I really like Lulu for gathering. The partner skill reduces growth time on crops so you in general need fewer plantations. a Trio of Petalia, Lullu and F. aqua is all you need to keep everyone fed.

  4. I think Tombat is one of the best early pals. Rushboar's charge attack for early ore gathering. For late game book burning, Cryolinx Terra; that's a good mix of skills, especially for some of the ore and coal heavy mountain tops that also have trees. The natural spawns output more, then they go to player built mine. Sylene for late medicine work without books, not hard to get really.

  5. The only point i disagree with is the lack of splatterina. I dump my first lumber and med books on her then i have the best lumber med handywork pal all in one slot and shes dark. So i feel she should have a spot there in those and if you dont need wood she can help carry stuff.

  6. Quivern Botan was a bit of a surprise to see, but it makes perfect sense with the crossover suitabilities being optimal for multiple base types. Also Sootseer as something other than a Rancher was very interesting. Definitely think I'll make another one for the mining base. I'm at the point where I'm reducing base pals at the mining base. So I'm all about good crossover suitabilities. Thank you for the idea!

I was a bit sad not to see Blazamut Ryu not listed for end game. Natural lvl 4 kindling and mining was so helpful to build up stockpiles. It was one of my more difficult breeds, so my guess is that's why you omitted it.

  7. For me gangler ignis is a beast, it has 3 skills: watering, kindling and transport
its not naturally nocturnal but i don't really play in the night so for me is the best option in the late game, you just need some books and thats it
