I'm so traumatised by the skull caverns I won't go in without staircases. Even so, I'm asking if my kids will do it for me! 😂😂😂
I got the dialogue even tho I skipped the last 4 floors with starcases

You can use some stairs and still get the dialog…
Last time I reached level 100 and for that dialog it was completely unintentional. I was trying to get over 25 levels for the desert fair to get Gil's hat. I completely forgot I hadn't completed that quest yet.

The first time I reached level 100, I didn't use any staircases and bombs 😂
I really depend on it all to my luck
Wear two lucky rings, have a lucky day, get luck blessing from the statue, get "find staircase easier" From dwarf statue, use magic quiver as trinket, and I've reached level 100 at 9.40 pm

I got that first time i made it to him.
Used about 25 stair cases.
But i had them made before i went in.

I actually did it i just used the slingshot with explosive amo and bombs
I'll stick with the staircases
But mr.qi still appreciate us even using staircase because he knows we as player need a lot of stones/jade/crystalarium to make staircase 😂
I played split screen with my bf and he did all the staircases so I got the honorable dialogue lol

You're still honourable unless you don't use more than 10 staircases
Wait you can use stair cases…. I've been going at the mines with my pickaxe and am only at lvl 65 or so because I've not known about this crap
Just majority have to be holes or ladders and you get same message

Even if you use a few staircases you can still get the honorable way. You use them on the twisting levels
I honestly didn't put together that staircases could drop you to the next floor instantly. My first time around, it took me an in-game week to discover the strats. I couldn't buy too many bombs either, so I used those strategically and crafterld more as I went. By the time I finally reached lvl 100, it was 11:50 lol
I once made it all the way down the floor 100 without any staircases only to find Mr Qi not there and there wasn’t even a treasure chest. Turns out he doesn’t appear if you haven’t gotten the note that tells you to meet him at the bottom.
I was so disappointed and after actually getting said note the next day I just staircased my way down to him.
I still plan on using staircases sorry
actually, you can use the staircase for 1 or 2 times , if you use it in floor full of monster
I usually do that without staircases. It is much more fun. I get a lot of useful things on the way. I do not rush much and collect all Iridium, red cabbage seeds, and prizes I can 🙂
Aww, Mr. Qi thinks I’m not honorable for using staircases? Tough. Staircases and holes are the only way I’m going to that place 😂
the thing that sucks is i made it all the way to like level 90 using 60 to 70 bombs on a unlucky day for what it felt like and i passed out :/ i never got that far again, and i was forced to use staircases. it annoyed me when he said i did it without honor cause it felt like i done all that for nothing just to get scolded, if i wanted to do that i would of just looked in the mirror to tell myself again lol. i can see why its there though anyhow for people who cheats vs dont cheat
Deescalating is not automatically good because its deescalation. Sometimes you need to stand up for your kid. As you say, this was in public, it wasnt likely to turn into her attacking him physically. If she did, he had the people around as witnesses. Taking a strong moment for a kid like actually having something cool happen and making your kid give away something because you want to "deescalate" is something the kid is likely to remember, and not in a "oh, dad was being smart" way. What he's going to see is "dad doesnt think things that matter to me are worth even saying no to protect"

I got to floor 99, almost made it to 100 when I was forced to pass out. That's probably the one thing I hate about this game.
For this particular quest I always do it with honor, after I need all the iridium as possible
Using modded Skull Cavern elevator still counts as normal game – Mr.Qui appoved.
However 100-levels challenge are NOT very hard if player do know how to use weapons and using holes which allow to skip 4-7 levels by 1 jump.
So my choices are easy route or hard route but I get praised…(I don have the patience for hard route XD)
