KurtJMac has been walking to the Minecraft Far Lands for 14 years. His journey will end this week!

KurtJMac started walking to the Minecraft Far Lands in 2011 with his Far Lands or Bust series. While KilloCrazyMan was the first to reach the Far Lands, and many others have since, KurtJMac was the first to even attempt this journey, and has raised nearly $500,000 for charity over the past 14 years. I think it’s safe to say that this is one of the most significant Minecraft adventures of all time, and it’ll be ending within a week of this video releasing.

This guy has been going since:
– before the official release of Minecraft
– before the release of GTA V
– a month before The Amazing World Of Gumball aired
– a year after Adventure Time aired
– before Gravity Falls aired
– before Facebook bought Instagram
– 3 months before Twitch was launched
– Twitter was still cool
– Windows 7 was still new(2yo)
– Steve Jobs was still alive
– PewDiePie was a nobody screaming at barrels
– sir Alex Ferguson was still the coach of Manchester United
– before Subway Surfers was launched
– before Technoblade created his channel
I can go on, but you get the point.
This will be a generational milestone.
You are a real one for giving KurtJMac much needed exposure. He certainly deserves it.
he’s live right now on twitch for 2-3 hours
wait a minute, didn't someone already reach the far lands in survival? it was a big deal like 5 to 10 years ago, right?
I could have sworn he or someone else already did this a couple years ago, anyone else remember?
I didn't think it actually like, would've taken 14 years to do it once, I thought the "seasons" where the amount of times he's been. I guess it would take way longer if all he was doing was just going in a direction with rarely pressing the f3 button.
What I would love to see is a new series afterwards where he walks back to his original spawn point 😂
I still hate the far làds with a passion, all these holes and the weird shape of those cliffs still sends shivers down my back. When KurtJMac will reach this place and those monster cliffs will appear, I’ll probably feel a little sick.

Kurtjmac prerty much proves that we dont need infinitely sized minecraft worlds… even if we do need better control of the player position further out where it does start to stutter
I JUST SEARCHED TRHIS UP BECAUSE I WAS WONDERING NAD IT WAS MADE 9 HOURS AGO??
I still can’t believe that you still make videos. Your videos don’t pop up on my feed anymore. I grew up watching your content.
Nice!
🙂
This video feels like you're trying to figure out where Voyager 1 is based on its most recent two communications with earth
I thought he did it already? Am i tripping?
the one piece of minecraft let's plays
Been watching FLOB on and off since the beginning. I can't believe he's finally nearly there…
autodubbing sucks 💔💔
On the thumbnail. You can make his head bob by scrolling up and down
God, I remember hearing about this guy back in the day. It's kinda surreal to know not only are they still going. They're almost done.
I can't believe his dog teleported so quick underneath the boat he was sailing it made the game think he received 20 hearts of fall damage
i just commented on their twitch that i came from your video about their journey and i even youtube subbed to them
I saw his first few streams and forgot what his name was but always wondered how his journey is going, does he still have a pink sheep counter?
2:15 I love the let's plays video format
Floating block of ice
'The Long Walk' just got a whole new meaning, defined by sheer commitment, and kindness (taking the opportunity to raise fund for charity, kudos Kurt!)
how many TB/Terabytes of data did KirtjMack have to have in order to go to the farlands?
omg, it's been a year lol.
I could have sworn the head in the thumbnail moved when I was scrolling
I remember hearing stories about Kurt and probably watching a few videos as a kid. Can’t believe how time had passed.
I've graduated middle, and highschool and college, had shit jobs, had good jobs, had serious jobs, had a child since he's started this lmfaoo
Kurt may not be the first person to reach the farlands, but the fact that he kept going even after 14 years shows how dedicated he is.
cool
WAIT HE IS STILL GOING!??!?!
Let’s see fourteen years ago I was six;
I was a high school freshmen when he started his journey. Now I'm 29. So much has happened since then.
