The "guy" that you said said "Nah, I cant do it therefor it's a lie" is in fact not claiming it to be a lie just literally doesn't seem to be able to reproduce the bug, notifies others on the issue so that we together can find the real issue as there seems to be something more in play here than just happy ghasts and the height you are falling from.
"Is it not the point of copper golems to take extremely long to oxidize?" No it is not. Currently it takes 7 hours for a copper golem to oxidize a SINGLE STAGE. So going from a fresh normal copper golem to a copper golem statue will take you 28 HOURS. This is marginally longer than for other copper blocks.
The "bots" is a feature. Those comments appear every time there is an attachment added to the bug. So if there is a screenshot of the bug on the bug page, then the user that made the bug will automatically send those comments. Those are not bots. Those are features.

Oxidized copper golems on Bedrock actually turn into a statue in ~30 seconds or so, but on Java it takes several hours. It's not so much of a bug as it is a weird parity disparancy

No they take a long time to turn into a statue when they are alredy in their maxed oxidized form
My favourite bug report came from someone reporting an incident where their hearts suddely turned yellow, and they took some damage.
They were being poisoned by a witch.
No the fully OXIDIZED copper golems take ages on Java to turn into a statue vs 10 seconds on Bedrock

That one guy literally said the opposite of what you said he said. He said that he can’t reproduce so he asked the original reporter to show it happening to him, whereas you said that he said that he can’t reproduce it so it’s a lie

In a snapshot for Java, the copper golem would take longer to oxidize than say, a block of copper or the copper chest. I’m pretty sure this was in the first snapshot for Java, but correct me if I’m wrong.
