  1. To be fair, the time between 1.3.5 and 1.4 was a bit over 3 years, and we don't even hit 3 years until this weekend.
    I love the fact that they're still working on adding more content despite having made enough to retire years ago, they're basically modders by now (doing it for the fun/community).

  2. Team Fortress 2 players: light work

    ( we’ve been waiting for 8 years for an actual update, and not just maps, cosmetics, and taunts. Maps, cosmetics, and taunts.MAPS, COSMETICS, AND TAUNTS. ALL THAT USLESS SHIT. THE CLOSEST WE’VE GOTTEN TO A ACTUAL UPDATE WAS A TAUNT KILL THAT TAKES ETERNITY TO KILL.)

    [and despite that the community is still alive as ever]

    {with terrible humor tho}

  3. I admit I have a problem. When I know a big update is around the corner, in any videogame, i tend to stop playing it, so that getting back into the new update will feel even fresher.

    Yeah, I haven't touched Terraria, my favourite game, in 2.5 years now.

  4. Now THAT’S a curtain call right here!
    That’s just my mindset when my own stuff gets put on hiatus itself, by the way. If I know I can’t finish a certain project, I just don’t get started; most certainly beats having less than all we’ve started with! This was true with Death Game by Majority, and the same thing happened with Super Mario Brothers Z a long time ago; I can’t blame myself for quitting indie after they’ve ruled themselves out as pioneers of a future for humans and not machines, as I’ve even once cared about THAT one to begin with.

  5. The good part of not being too worried about updates is that when you least expect it, it comes out. I've been playing Terraria Calamity for some time and I had no idea 1.4.5 was under development for 2 years, I just downloaded the latest version I found and have been playing until now lol
