    They’re in a mesa.
    A mesa is… a boring biome to say the least,
    An update for it would make sense. It has no structures, and no trees. Basically the most boring biome possible.
    Maybe the copper iron golem could actually be something related to terracotta?
    I think it might be a mesa update.
    If a mesa had structures based around copper, it would make sense to have its own mobs, like the copper iron golem (if it is copper), the weird zombie on the left, and the mob that is in the center, which I think is also a zombie. Just look at the legs, it’s clearly a zombie-shaped mob, and the rips in the pants reveal green skin, which… couldn’t be anything else.
    Also, why would they specifically use the most boring biome as the background for the Minecraft live if it isn’t related to the updates at all?
    They could’ve used a plains biome, but they specifically chose a mesa.
    I also think that copper fits pretty well with the mesa biome, which is a reason they could add in copper based structures in mesas.
    I know we already had the copper age as the ‘copper update’, but I don’t know. I think a mesa update isn’t out of the question.

    I’ll come back after Minecraft live to see if I was right.

    Hang on, I just noticed they hinted at the end update again in that thumbnail. If you look at what the people are doing, they appear to be walking on a path. If you follow a path the whole way, you will reach the END of the path!
