How to get the ravager back to the starting point – when the game ends, just spawn a trapped villager at the starting point. The ravager will chase him and get back to the starting point.

Well, in survival you can't really use spawn eggs anyway. So your best bet would be luring the Ravager back to the start by a player, trapping it in a cage. Then bringing in a new villager.
