  1. Now if they'd make the bedrock item frame an entity like java, that'd be great. Us console players can't even place an item frame like that, never mind a map in it.

  2. If they are going to keep going down this route for the updates,
I think its time to switch to the four digit version number like all reasonable game devs do.
    Release . Major update . Minor update . bugfix/hotfix

  3. Man these drops are starting to get hard to follow, I really don't understand why Mojang would ever think this was a good idea… If we'll ever get a 1.22 or 1.23 and neither are an end update I think imma just stick to one version and stop updating at all atp

  4. like even though this isn't mounts of mayhem, the fact that a FOURTH drop will have a 2025 release date is insane

It really seems like the drop system has allowed mojang to work more efficiently

  5. Ooh my god! Itemframes and Carpets coexisting in the same block space!!! Freaking rad! Now lets make that all blocks, carpets really should mesh with other "wall decor", like theres no reason to not be able to have trapdoor (or shelf) baseboards that dont get in the way if being able to place down carpets… and while we are at it with carpets… STAIRS AND SLABS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, either add Wool Slabs and Stairs or allow Carpets to be placed on Slabs and Stairs so we can FINALLY have some nice wooden staircases with a runner carpet down the center… like come on already!

  6. Versioning numbers are a deep rooted problem in Minecraft.

That's because these kinds of numbers are not well suited for what they're used here: to indicate when the game is getting cool new features. Version numbers are meant to indicate when programs go through changes that break compatibility with previous versions.

But in the case of Minecraft, the community learned that if the version bumps to 1.22 it'd mean we got a big content drop that took a year to develop, and everyone would go bananas if we got a 2.0 version, even though those don't necessarily mean anything.

That means mojang currently can't use the version numbers for their intended OR their unintended purpose. And it's also basically impossible to keep it consistent in Bedrock Edition.

TL;DR: it would be helpful if both the community and Mojang stopped paying attention to version numbers altogether.
