I have a better idea For the trash cleanup and you don't have to leave your farm You can use the pond in your farm to fish for trash. (Works best with the default farm)
For the prismatic slime quest, I like to target infested floors (especially if they're slime-only floors!) since they stay infested all day. I'll often just check the Stardew predictor, but if you wanted to do it manually, I would recommend first checking every single floor that ends in 1, then checking floors that end in 2 and 6. Floors ending in 5 can't be infested, and obviously floors ending in 0 don't spawn any monsters
the little animations are soo cute!! 💜
Another tip for 19:00 is to equip a basilisks paw trinket if you have one.
Amazing as always ❤
Only problem is you don't post a lot😅
For the resource rush quest, you can deconstruct wooden chests or staircases.
For Pierre's quest about the quality crops: I usually donate wheat, but harvest whatever I have. I would have loved if you had mentioned that fruits do not count for that quest, only crops labeled "vegetable". (Tomatos do count, event through Demetrius will strongly disagree.) But the crops counted do not have to be identical with the crops donated. Same as for the museum, donate the crops first, if you have hoarded them already, and then proceed with growing and harvesting them. Fertiliser helps a lot with this quest.
Qi beans can be found shaking trees on ginger island, too, which is nice when you're running around. I had the minimum time of 7 days given for a qi fruit quest – and no, I did not accept that one, because it is very, very stressful. For growing and regrowing the qi beans, speed gro, even better quality speed gro might help a lot, cutting the growth time from 4 days to 3 or 2 days. If you are short on just a few qi fruits (due to miscalculation or forgetfulness) and it is towards the end of the quest, using a Junimo hut to harvest and providing the Junimos with raisins can help to increase the number of harvested qi fruits. You should make sure to have seed makers available for this quest not to become a complete nightmare.
For the prismatic grange quest, you can also use unprocessed CDs and broken glasses for blue and refined quartz for purple. Also the 4 dwarf scrolls, that keep dropping after you've learned Dwarvish, can be used here. Red can also be done by explosive ammo, if you have too many iron bars lying around.
Robin's quest for 80 hardwood usually comes around quite early, so I try to leave some stumps up at my farm or the ginger island one. Technically it is possible to finish the quest solely by harvesting the stumps in the secret woods. If the player has the normal mines on the dangerous setting, floors 40-70 can offer stumps, mahogany trees and big logs to cut down with an axe for some hardwood. If you have the casino unlocked, deconstructing hardwood fences would also work. If you have ginger island, there are a few naturally spawning trees in the slime area, in front of the desert trader and at the dig site.
When doing the fragments of the past quest, dig spots can also give bone fragments. In the mines also destroy barrels because they can contain bone fragments (not in the dangerous version).
The 100 000 coins threshold stays up for the freshly cooked items, even when you use the profit margin setting. So getting 100 000 coins means you have to ship up to the quadruple amount of items (at profit margin 25%).
Very well-made video and very informative. Thank you 😊 🙏
My own tips:
– for gunther's quest: spam levels 70-79 in the mines. Even better if you can spam levels 75-78 in one day, as level 78 has the most skeletons.
– for willy's quest: spam levels 10-29 if you don't have access to the sewers.
– for robin's research rush: if you are asked to collect stones, just spam levels 5, 45, and 85 and destroy any boulders. You can also keep any boulders or meteors from the farm and then destroy them when the quest starts.
– for the prismatic shard quest: staircase all the way to level 100 and then begin your hunt for prismatic shards. I think seanie dew said it best: level 100 and beyond is where you'll find all the precious resources. Or if you're on a time crunch… go with the buying animals from marnie route and naming them with [74][74][74] lol
Absolutely love!! Animations are so cute and I learned so many new things!
For the pierre wanting gold veggies you can give him veggies you already have and saved as long as you still get 25 gold veggies harvested so you could give him 25 golden wheat which are dirt cheap when sold anyway that you saved just for him for maximum profit.
for cleaning trash most farms let you fish up trash on them.
I start planting taro roots as soon as I get them on Ginger Island and skip the tropical ingredient quest until it asks for taro. Unlike the other two crops, taro is a pick-once crop that can help you get golden walnuts. For the bone quest, I keep going to the dig site and mining everything BUT bone nodes, so the site gradually fills with bone nodes until the quest comes up. It takes 2 minutes to get the bones then.
no on 2. your farm. fish on your farm. its faster, you dont have to go anywhere and zero chance of a fish. yes you can catch 5 joja coloas but even then its faster. alsp going north of your farm the timming is about the same when done. the difference is you dont have to run to the mine.
is this a new animation style you’re trying you? if so i absolutely love it!!! its so cuteeee. very good video btw:)) ive been playing stardew since 2021 and your advice really helps
24:20 omg you love saw too?! yippee!
I just did the dozen leeks quest today and decided a whole month was enough time to forage 12 in the wild. I ended day 28 with only 11 found 😅. Definitely going to just grow wild seeds next time.
tysm for this video
i've been struggling with a few of the quest board ones
The deconstructor can be used for a lot of quests. If you already have enough bug meat, turn it into bug steaks and deconstruct them. For hardwood, if you have the coal to spare, carved braziers. Wood and stone, chests and large stone chests. You can even deconstruct grass starters for fiber for prismatic grange.
For fragments of the past, it requires some planning but I like to pickaxe everything in the bone quarry except for the bone nodes, so eventually it's full of bone nodes and I can get 100 bone fragments in 5 seconds by bombing it.
For the ginger quest, pickaxe the hoed spots from digging ginger, because it won't spawn there again until it's been untilled, either by you pickaxing it or just waiting long enough for it to go away. Obviously the latter means it'll take much longer to get 100 ginger, if you get that many at all.
for danger in the deep, if you have the basilisk paw trinket, USE IT. it saved me so much grief when dealing with the putrid ghosts, and it saves your ginger supply too
For Linus garbage quest you can fish in the ponds on the farm, there seems to be just trash in there and it's early excess 😂
If you're in Spring and want to rip off Pierre, you can sell him 25 pieces of unmilled rice. Even at gold quality, these things are worth less than the 2500g reward.
17:47 "copper pre" took me a second as I went "pre-what?"
19:50 Bonus tip (which doesn't help complete the quest but is useful for money): you can catch any of these fish so long as the quest is active, meaning more than one of each type if you haven't caught all of them yet. So even if you don't want the Qi gems it's a good quest to take just for the smoked high-quality Legend IIs as a money-maker.
Tip for the ginger quest in the island – if you hoe the ground to harvest some ginger – it’s best to pickaxe it back over again.
The ginger can’t spawn if you leave the earth hoed and covering it back yourself is quicker than waiting for the game to reset the spots and then respawn more ginger. 🙂
4:08 You can also inmediately buy void eggs from Krobus, right? I think they count as fresh still
For the qi beans I stock on geodes and plant them on winter. It's not like all the extra space is gonna be used for anything anyways.
My tip for the quest would be to remember how you like to play. I'm someone that likes fishing in Stardew so the Aqutic Overpopulation and Extended Family quest are my bread and butter but I know people that will take Let's Play A Game over them which I've never been able to do.
I think you did biome balance twice
