Magical Storage IS HERE | Terraria: Modded Master Mode #3

It’s Terraria time baby, with more mods than anyone should sensibly have and less time than ever before. I can’t even remember the basics.

  1. This game has always been overwhelming to me. But I love watching you play games. So even though it's like you are just yelling nonsense at me for 49 minutes, I'm still going to watch every second of this series.

  2. If you barely play Terraria, Master Mode will just kick your teeth in, but assuming you don’t have the hand-eye coordination of a lemon, and the mental power of a 1950’s Toaster, then you should be able to prepare enough to make it doable or potentially a fair fight even with a potential lacking of skill

  3. 1. Have a chat (honestly a bunch of chats) with your starfarer, she has things for you now that you've beaten a boss. There was a notification but it's easy to miss. Get into the habit of checking it every time you beat a boss / event – even modded ones, TSA has a lot of cross-mod integration 🙂 If she says something at the BEGINNING of the fight, she will have gifts for you 🙂
    2. Magic Storage lets you filter items based on the tooltip "tags". The buttons have an item on them that represents the tab; For example, "Summon Weapon" (slime staff button), "Equippable" (anklet of the wind button), "Material" (wood button), and so on.
    3. The Alchemist NPCs are widely regarded as "incredibly overpowered" (especially when combined with the 30-stack feature from Fargo's Mutant Mod) but it's a singleplayer game so who cares 🤣
    4. LuiAFK's harvesters are a godsend. I'd recommend getting one set up sooner or later. Fargo's Lumberjack and Architect NPCs are fine (if somewhat expensive) sources of wood, but the convenience of "chest that auto-harvests trees" can't be overstated. It's totally ok to do off-camera, it's not interesting haha. Place two tiles of dirt somewhere flat & easily accessible on the surface near spawn, put the wood harvester on top of them, place 50 tiles of dirt in each direction, plant grass seeds (or wait), turn on smart cursor, place acorns on top of the dirt. It's stupid simple haha
    5. I recommend picking up the Boss Checklist and Recipe Browser mods, as they make seeing all the modded content much more likely. There's a pre-eye boss from Fargo's Mutant Mod which has a guaranteed drop that I think you'd like 🙂

  4. Me who watched the entirety of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown on youtube, pointing at the screen when mr.creamer mentioned Bill Bailey playing the alphorn on countdown:

  5. im not sure if you did it offscreen, but you can make a heart lantern for more regen

you can put gel in an ammo slot so you have more space for inventory stuff

you can stack instahouses on each other to keep all the NPCs close and not wandering everywhere

  6. Ah car boot sales, an absolute treasure trove for poor kids
I remember one time I got a Steve Austin action figure that I think when you hit it or twisted his head he'd cry out in pain
And I don't fucking know why but I threw him behind the boiler tank that was in a cupboard in my room and if you punched the tank or the door hard enough it would trigger the toys reaction and fucking hell it was so funny to me

  7. Community Note: In my neck of the woods in the US, If any birds live most the year at a public waterway, i.e.: a pond within a neighborhood, etc, they are considered public property of the residents nearby and you can and will be arrested for capturing/hunting them. I had a friend cook a goose from his neighborhood pond and he went to prison for cruelty to a pet. They all but forced that family to leave the entire city over it.

  8. There is the Recipe Browser mod that allows you to search recipes like you do with the Guide but more advanced.

Additionally, its probably a good idea to add a Grave to crafting stations and a Kiln.

  9. A thing you should craft, the Explorer Drone. It's useful as all hell. Makes finding sky islands easy, and it can be used in the caves.

  10. Mr Streamer! If you want to keep the 30 stack buffs balanced just limit yourself to like 5 permanent and drink the rest. I recommend shine and night owl because being able to see is more important than being alive.

  11. I bet you can combine magic weapons like stun, freeze, ignite into one weapon. Get mod recipes browser(or something like that I don't remember name) you can lookup weapons there and what you need and boss checklist for bosses and how to summon them (if you do have that sorry for that). Shimmer is special liquid under ocean, you can drop items into that for permanent bonuses or to get back materials for crafting (or glitching for money). Highly recommend to use pylons for transportation. Get full miner set for better mining speed (deviantt will sell summon for miners) + you can get/craft mining accessories. For mobile viewers get 30 night owl and shine potions and put them in piggy bank.

  12. Mr. Streamer, you can connect a bunch of the storage connectors together to get a huuuuge amount of magic storage slots! I've been having a blast, keep enjoying yourself!
