i always play with diverse stardew valley (and expanded) so every time i see someone else’s play through i just keep thinking of “What is wrong with you” “I can explain!” “Why are you white ”
Probably an unpopular opinion but Haley is one of my favorite marriage candidates because she goes through the most growth as a person and alot of her heart events are really sweet or funny.
I love this game so much! I love how as you bond with each character, you get to know them better and get their backstories/ get to know why they are how they are (mean, alcoholic, etc.) And then befriending them despite these "flaws" helps them "change"❤
I got the dino egg in week 1 and that was one lucky stroke. I'm deciding to romance the wizard, I wish I could in the first playthrough vanilla but alas, just wondering when Linus becomes romancable, perhaps there is a mod there.

I always plant the seasonal seeds so I can turn them into more seasonal seeds. Once you have enough of a base, and there are more seeds than you can properly take care of at a given time, then it's time to start selling them or turning them into other things that can sell. It's a lot better than just relying on your luck foraging
I vote we call the "forest magic" scene LSTree from now onf
In terms of modding, I really like the cottagecore-esque aesthetic mods because I just really like how it looks, and having the earthy tones pleases my brain in a way I can't explain XD
I just realized Stardew Valley is happening to me.. My grandpa died in '89 and left his land to us. It is very remote inside the Dearborn Canyon and the only road is unmaintained. We continued to visit for a couple years after he died but family problems brought and end to our trips. All of us grandkids that grew up out there got older, moved away and started families. Unfortunately, our family doesn't reunite or speak often and many of us forgot how to find the place so it became lost for decades. Two months ago, I moved 1000 miles back to my home town after 18 years out of state. I am the only living family member here now and I couldn't get grandpa's land out of my mind. So after 30 years and with the power of Googlemaps I decided to go looking for it two days ago.. and I found it. Nothing has changed except for the trailers have aged into the Earth and I found a ton of family keepsakes inside them. Sent my extended family the pictures and now I'm getting flooded with messages from them. Everyone is psyched that I found it and confirmed my suspicion that none of them had been out there in forever. They are all encouraging me to reclaim the land for the family and build it back up.. It's a surreal experience since I haven't seen the place since I was 7 or 8 years old and nothing has been touched. Now I find myself in charge of my family's lost sacred ground and in possession of personal items that have been waiting for us there since the early 90's.
Me; still playing vanilla and constantly running out of wood: drools at all of the added forest I have a very strong desire to deforest that entire valley…
I've been having some bad anxiety and depression days lately, and I needed some Stardew in my life. I've watched all of expanded on twitch, but now I'm back to watch it over again, at least until I can get some new episodes. Lol Gab plus Stardew always makes me feel happy and calm.

As others have mentioned, definitely wait until you reach the top of the volcano until you choose to marry someone. They are simply 🤌🏻 divine.

yeah, the Automate mod and the NPC locator map are amazing

Once you have enough of a base, and there are more seeds than you can properly take care of at a given time, then it's time to start selling them or turning them into other things that can sell. It's a lot better than just relying on your luck foraging
