Almost everyone knows that you can fight dukefishrong right after you enter hardmode but whatever
I do pre mech duke fishron religiously
Also with Infernum you can fight Lunatic Cultist as your first boss.
First time I played I discovered that there is a fishron boss and since then I'm always trying to fight him first in HM
