I'm surprised you don't have a chest by your mine elevator. I find it handy for storing food or dropping off things from inventory.
Night Market in winter is where you see the Mermaid Show. You get a pearl from there if you solve the puzzle.

Most adults like most vegetables, but there are a handful of vegetable haters, Abigail being one of them. Fruit tree fruit is liked by everybody, including children. A lot of adults like eggs, too (but not everybody).
