i'm not sure what's funnier, the fact that andy accidentally summoned a post-cultist boss right out of the hardmode gates, or the fact that said boss murdered almost every single town npc you had present at the time

The reason you were running into the boss issues, was most definitely because of the "wrath of the gods" mod, the one that adds solyn and the storyline.
It's not made to be played in multiplayer, which it usually tells you when you first join the server.
It includes cutscenes and different dimensions, so instances that have to be loaded, which never worked well with any mod in multiplayer terraria.
So I recommend the turning it off for this playthrough, even thought it's really fucking cool.
Also get magic storage so you don't have to deal with chests and organization.
Another thing I do recommend, but is completely up to you, is to disable respawning during bosses,so there is more of a challenge.
Since you mentioned some bosses being easy.
I believe there is a spectator mod too.
Wait hold up this isn't just Calamity, you got WOTG on as well! Playthrough just went from 9.5/10 to 10.5/10
