You actually dont need a seed because the bedrock is the exact same on every minecraft seed (except if you install a plugin that randomizes it like on donut smp)
But why do they still freak out even if only 1 bit gets leak like how can you still determan where it is if you can only see like 1 or 2. Its probly a simple answer but i have trouble figuring shit out

Bro that doesn't even matter, in any vanilla Minecraft world, the bedrock always generates in the same pattern, so you don't even need the seed, that's why a small area already works, because there's only 3.6 quadrillion square blocks of surface bedrock, and for a 4×4 or 5×5 area of bedrock you can already pinpoint the location to about less than 10 locations, if your sever has a limited border, then the location become a probably 1 or 2 and that's why bedrock leak is so powerful

you dont even need the seed, every bedrock is the same on every world. (except if you use a mod that changes it but whatever)
