Fishing up the Legend II works even better if you enchant the rod with the master enchantment giving you an extra level in fishing. Combine with the Sea Foam Pudding and that becomes a level 15 fishing, 16 if you make the pudding with Qi Seasoning. Combine with Ginger Ale for +1 luck, lucky rings and (if you are lucky) lucky days for even better results.

You can then fill your farm with fish ponds and put the Legend II in each one. Aged Legend II row for 7084 each with the Artisan Perk and the quality of the Legend II doesn't matter. Use the golden animal crackers for more roe. The rest you catch can be smoked after you farm is full. You can also get the extended family quest more than once…

I didn't know that trick with the honey. Can you do that with any flower Spring through Fall? Is there any other trick like that that will alter the end product?

For golden eggs all but iridium quality should be made into mayo unless you go Artisan then even iridium. Each golden egg gives 3 gold star mayo.
Base price of gold eggs are 500, 625, 750, 1000g each while base price of 1 mayo is 285 but you get 3 so you would get 855g for turning one egg into mayo.
Rancher the same outcome but the numbers are 600, 750, 900, 1200g but mayo is now 342g each (1026g for 3)
The best however is if you go Artisan eggs default to base and the only exception to using iridium quality. Base price of eggs are 500, 625, 750, 1000g each but mayo is 399g (1197g for 3)

Now for the best profit for least work you would want Rancher with all Iridium quality eggs as that nets you the most, unfortunately even with a maxed out chicken I always found it hard to maintain top quality all the time.
Going artisan is more work but nets you greater profit. The loss of 3g per iridium is easily made up with the bonus of money you get from gold or lesser quality eggs processed. Gold eggs rancher vs artisan mayo is 297g in favour of mayo, that means Rancher would need to only ever get 1 gold every 100 eggs (1 gold, 99 iridium) just to match what artisan does. However the numbers get even more wild if it's a lesser quality. 750g silver egg w/rancher vs 1197 mayo artisan is a differnce of 447g, 600g normal rancher vs artisan mayo is 597g difference.

Now late game these numbers don't look all that impressive until you factor in that is per egg. A full coop of 12 changes the outcome to being a net profit after processing to (normal>Iridium) 7,164g, 5,364g, 3,564g and finally -36g. Most realistically with maxed out chickens lets say you get 6 gold 6 iridium per day that is still 1,764g profit per day and the work is not much more. Making 12 mayo machines late game is easy enough to do with some work so just set them up in each coop and collect and refill when you would normally do your eggs.

It also is not worth the trick of changing professions once your chickens have fully grown is the 20k cost (10k to change and 10k to change back) would require 6,667 iridium eggs just to break even on the transaction.

wow, tricky, i only knew about making wines out of ancient fruit. The kale / strawberry trick starting out, does it give enough time to still grow the crops necessary for the community center or would one simply wait until the next spring to finish the spring crops?
