1. Always get & store at least 15-20 pieces of every crop, forageable, mining piece, fish, etc during the 1st & 2nd year. Cause if you ever want to go for perfection, you wouldn't want to be stuck having to wait for a certain season along in general for growth time on crops to be missing an ingredient for cooking.
2. As soon as you unlock the walnut room, go for the Key to the Town before any other reward! Not only will it help immensely with just getting to the island sooner (aka not having to rely on Willys schedule) BUT also helps with so many other villagers. An example being if you missed the closing time for Clint, he's too often still inside & close enough to still use the blacksmith services. Same goes for Robin or Marnie as you can get there before their Tuesday yoga class, etc.
3. DON'T TOSS/SELL THE EXTRA ARTIFACTS! If you ever want to get into fish ponds, many of them will ask for specific relics like the Dwarven Gadget or Dwarven Scroll II. The Lava Eel especially. This also in a sense is a follow up to the number 1. Try to keep a few at least so you aren't struggling later on because the Lava Eel aged roe is great $$$$$ with not much maintenance.
Alternatively, do buy the fibreglass rod as bait decreases the time for a fish to bite significantly. Bait can be made from bug meat which is easily obtainable from the early floors of the mines
My friend and I started a multiplayer server and played together for the first time. I wasn’t paying attention when Lewis tells you about the shipping container so I thought you HAD to sell all your items to Pierre. It changed my life when I realized I didn’t have to
the other bad thing beyond not getting % towards the achievement he will also fully take credit for your produce he tells the others in the town that he grew the produce you sold him
Only disagree on fishing rod. Fiberglass is one of the main goals because bait speeds up a lot fiahing. Iridium rod makes hard fish much netter to get. I don't buy in spring because we only have catfish, but summer we have sturgeon all day and super cucumber all night so it's worth
For fishing is the training rod for the first few levels. It’s the only way to make it tolerable! But then skip bamboo and go to fiberglass and get some of the super bait.
