    9:52 Some insights from a game developer here:
    This is actually something I'm surprised Mojang didn't do WAY earlier on. Essentially, rather than having a separate block for every block set, they could've set it up to have a single block texture be reusable to make all sorts of different blocks automatically. It would be the ultimate and best future-proofing system Mojang has ever done in Minecraft's development.

    Currently, we have things like wooden stairs, wooden slabs, wooden doors, etc.
    From how things are looking, I feel Mojang might be reworking how blocks work entirely. Instead, we'd have stairs, slabs, doors, etc. And you can decide what resource to use in building them to determine what texture and properties the block would have.
    Want a calcite door? No problem, just make a door using calcite. Need netherite block slabs? Just do it.
    Rather than having to make new blocks every time they add a new resource, they just… make the resource, and the game makes all its block types for you!
    Another game that does this is Rimworld, where you can use different materials to craft different types of furniture and buildings there.

    As for how they'll implement it, imma be real, I have zero idea how. But that's their advantage here, they can rewrite and revise the code to make it happen. The only thing I imagined how this wasn't implemented yet, would be performance. Rather than having a single block knows it's an oak fence, that single block would check what material it's made of first. But perhaps that's another reason why they've been locking-in on improving the game's performance lately, not JUST for Vibrant Visuals.

    That being said, I've never actually made a game like Minecraft, but this is something I would've done if I was in charge.
    (Personally, I would've extended this system to ores and stones as well, so instead of separate ore blocks, you'd have stones that either contain an ore property, or don't. So you can have stones with multiple ores inside them. But, this is just me yapping now, hehe~)

    Addon dev here and they also added the ability for custom block collision to have more then one box! Before you could only have a collision with one box but you will be able to have multiple like how stairs are!!

    I wanna see more mounts added to minecraft with different uses, like a dire wolf that you can ride and can travel faster than a horse across land, but is much harder to tame, has less health, and only has one kind of armor like wolf armor. A new mob called the orc could be found riding them and there could be corrupted ones for the orcs that are even harder to tame, but are faster and stronger, and look cool. There should also be more water and sky, like faster sky mounts that are a bit rare, and only have one rider, but are decently fast for a mob, tho not as fast as elytra, and add a new water mob thats muliple riders, and can have a special type of thing attcahed to transport mobs, but travels slower

    @Wattles. Kindly take this as a piece of advice from a wellwisher in a optimistic way.

    Whenever you show a comparison between any two things (example: netherite horse armour texture java vs bedrock), always show two pictures side by side on the screen for easy comparison.
    You are the only minecraft update youtuber i like to watch and i would love to see this change.

    I want stuff like different color wood chests, as well as when you dye things like horse armors and whatever that it dyed the leather brown color to a variant of the chosen dye. I hate having the ugly brown color on my black dyed stuff
