I didn't get a cape either, even when I went on mobile and did what was needed.
Now, I'm having so many issues loading Realms and do things on Xbox as well…
I had a world where I built a giant castle and introduced my then 5 year old niece to Minecraft. We have built things on it ever since, bit by bit. I backed up the world several times over the course of the years, and now, after my niece turned 11 … Bedrock deleted it. Everything. Including the backup folder. The only thing left I have is a Minecraft youtube video I made – which was an introduction for her for the world. >.< We're devastated. 🙁
Wait so which update is it that are deleting people's worlds?
I cant complete a download. Errors right at the end. Sucks because if i lose my world im going to be three weeks behind.
This explains why i freeze up if i stand still for more than 3 min
How did my worlds not get deleted
I had this issue initially. When I tried updating, it wouldn't let me update it at all. Same thing with reinstalling it when I uninstalled it. But for some reason, even after backing up, it kept my worlds and such for some reason. But yeah, no, it absolutely destroyed my game and I waited two weeks for it to be fixed. It worked once 1.21.121 rolled out. Lmao.
Does anyone know how to backup a Bedrock world without logging into the game? I am too scared to log into Bedrock because I have a 6 year old world. Yes, I have backups but I'm worried I don't have the most recent version of my world. I don't know how to keep using an older version of Bedrock in order to backup the world. I have considered converting it to Java, backing it up and then reconverting back to Bedrock. Does anyone know if that would work?

I play on Java and redeemed the code 3+ weeks ago. I've waited for quite a while and still i got nothing. There's no concrete way to contact Mojang Support in regards to this problem, the Mojang Support twitter account looks like it was abandoned, and there's presently no solution for this issue even on their infinite loop of a website.
I put in 2 different codes, placed a copper golem in game and still have zero copper capes!

Bedrock, specifically realms, has been broken for years. They have never addressed it.
seen a lot of people reporting these issues (and more) with the update. most are blaming MS for this. some even saying MS is attempting to destroy minecraft. you're one of the few to realize the can of worms opened when MS took the game and "de-obfuscated" the code so "less talented" programmers could understand how minecraft worked. problem was, the "less talented" programmers were the ones who performed the de-obfuscation. still, gotta laugh – both at that and bedrock users accusing MS for ruining minecraft. the irony is honestly hilarious…
I have gotten some pink glitches since update. Not sure if it is Prizma or just VV issue. Still don’t have my cape and I did copper golem and watch streams. I play with a controller and would play Java more on PC but controller mods cause lag issues also.
Settings has been broken for a lot longer than 2 weeks. The spacing in the menu is terrible. All kinds of bugs indeed.

Dont get me wrong i love this lighting update. Game looks different it for sure chamges alot visually its a nice change. But it doesnt work on multiplayer and i only play with my son sooooo. The new xbox did stop all the lag everytime one of us open a chest or craft things. Its like dayz for kids love the open template no level games. Literally play as you want to.
FYI: The deleted worlds are only an issue on Windows.
Bedrock players are consistently treated like forgotten crap by the devs. We have SO many issues that never get addressed. Worlds randomly being deleted, ongoing ridiculous bugs.. no real way to report issues.. Microsoft is absolutely ruining the game for us.

Bugrock as broken as ever as Java gets deobfuscated and optimized code. I get over 70FPS on my spare pc with a GTX 950 and i5 2500, in 1.19 it couldn't even get over 20fps.

On Bedrock I thought I did the quest but after not getting it after the expiration date I just went and bought a code on Ebay. Thankfully it was less than 2$, but seriously Mojang, give capes on time. 😩
Bugrock edition is bussy to do collabs than fix their game btw and be sure there not any bugs in market place but the base game ''nah lets don't touch that take to mutch time and to expensive'' lets make a collab with Mars🎉
I had to uninstall the launcher and reinstall it to be able to play multi-player in Bedrock again. Now I'm struggling to download DUNGEONS from the launcher as every time I try, I either get an error or it can't find the game if it does manage to install. This is a disaster.
i did the code with tiktok for java and i thought it just needed some time until it came, but when i didnt get it after the event ended, i contacted support and they just havent answered me?! and i tried it multiple times during the event but it just said that i already used this code. absolute bs!

Bedrock has always been a mess to begin with. First you have, gimmicky mods you buy with money, loads of bugs and now this. It's basically the EA version of Minecraft.
You're so lucky you don't have the lag issue. I make Minecraft maps and with the lag issue it's pretty much impossible. My game also crashes after 5-10 minutes so I can't even try to work on a map if I wanted to. There was a new update today but even then the issue was not fixed. I wish you luck in not gaining any lag.
I just tried to start a Hardcore Survival Series and the mouse issue cause my menu screen to come on because it clicked outside the game screen o to my second monitor with OBS and cause me to die. I didn’t even last 2 days in game.
This is unbelievably infuriating. I just KNOW this was probably Microsoft pushing Mojang to hurry and drop these updates since they now drop one almost every week but this is the most unpolished and bugged update ever
I have another world with RealismCraft and everything is PINK. That’s IF the game even loads and doesn’t crash the whole game!
I can’t stream a Hardcore Suvival series, I can’t play in my family realm with my kids, and if it wasn’t for me being tech savvy and having Microsoft File History turned on, I would have lost my non-realm worlds.
This is aweful and I 💯 blame Microsoft for this mess.
