I built this tower on a survival realm, the main colorful block is sandstone, with a gradient of stone bricks, andesite, smooth stone, diorite, polished diorite (and some deepslate bricks). The idea is heavily inspired by another user on this community. You can easily find that post by searching "nameless tower" or scouring u/JackBorn11.
Pardon the angle, lmk what you think of this build, ik it doesn't match the surrounding builds atm.
