I have never made an amethyst farm before and i have never seen an amethys farm before, so i have no clue how they are actually made. Im also not very good with redstone, i just know a few basics.
How it works:
When an amethys bud grows the observer behind it gives out a signal that activates the dropper behind it. The dropper puts one unstackable item in the hopper behind it. The dropper is powered, so the item doesnt go back in the dropper again and once all items from the dropper are inside the hopper (5 items for the 5 amethyst bud stages) the fully grown amethyst bud gets broken by a piston and all items inside the hopper go back in the dropper.
This farm can be put on the 4 sides of a budding amethys block, which is shown in the last image.
Is this a good farm or rather meh?
