The original Villages and Strongholds shown off in the unreleased prototype build for Beta 1.8 were genuinely awesome IMO. They really fit the old desolate feel of Beta Minecraft, and I just really like how they look, especially that aboveground Stronghold. Are there any mods for modern day that re-implement these?
