The Calamity Mod is a large content mod for Terraria which adds many hours of endgame content and dozens of enemies and bosses dispersed throughout the vanilla game’s progression. The Calamity Mod also features several harder difficulty modes, such as Death mode and revengeance mode five new biomes and new structures, a new class, a new leveling mechanic, more than thirty new songs, over fifty recipes for previously uncraftable vanilla items and other assorted changes to vanilla gameplay.

  1. If this is the direction that calamity is going, this is going to be a game in and of itself. I just don’t know how they will justify using vanilla items. I just wish that they continue moving in this direction

  2. Notes: Excited, but this was purportedly coming "soon" in July & we didn't get to see any footage or block sprites of an actual updated Sunken Sea, so I'm not holding my breath (pun intended).
    Do the devs have a fetish for charge mechanics? Someone should tell them it's normal, even the standard, for a sword to be a sword and a gun to be a gun.
    Glad that we will finally (probably) have a fair DoG fight, after +3 years of him being unbelievably BS. Still not sure why they left it this long, even after Fab left.
    Removing Spore Knife and then adding it back as a rogue weapon is just insult to injury for us shortsword enjoyers
    Why more classless weapons? They've always been a meh part of Calamity and have a long history of being removed/made into classed weapons. They're cool, yes, but I'm unsure what the point of this is, especially as the team has removed a lot of cool weapons in the past for the sake of "cutting bloat."
    Would you like some content with those reworks? Jokes aside, I'm glad they're updating the game itself and not just the weapons or bosses for what feels like the first time in years, but I do wish there was a little more of that and a little less reworking of weapons that were already fine.

  3. With how much bs this mod and the team has gone through just this year alone, this update makes me very happy. They are still going just as strong (if not stronger) and I look forward to all that they have to share
