Actually, most of my friends primarily use mounts rather than elytras because we have a rule of not finishing the end because everyone would leave the server after that

I always use mounts because I never get to elytra
Maybe they will introduce some new structure or formation that you need a spear and mount to get through
They should make it so you could ride goats. There charge would be busted combined with the spear
Not every body grinds on the game twin ✌️
You’d think that they’d also have the mace be effective on horseback as maces were great at armor penetration.
The guys on Hermitcraft r gonna have Super Donkey jousting and Etho is gonna become something like: The Donkey Menace
I don’t know what you guys do but i frequently use horses after careful breeding to go on million block adventures for loot and items that I’d just rather go get naturally then go farm lazily.
Ignoring that the spear is a fantastic weapon because of its range! Range is its strong suit and can keep even players at bay. I’ve hit people out of the air with a spear when they try macing me.

But heres the thing. You will NOT have those things early game. If you start a world and want to go fast, horses are key Plays, spears are cheap, so in conclusion, early in a world, spears are a great weapon!

You're just assuming that everybody is AS GOOD AS U at Minecraft when less than 20% of players have ever gone to the end
The real reason is they want to give Minecraft dungeons weapons to the base game

the boat is a mount the elytra is a mount the water tunnel is a mount too
twin i haven't even gotten to the nether in 230 days i will continue using horses because I dont know how to craft rockets or beat the ender dragon gng😭✌️

I think they need to change saddles to a very early game way instead of iron. Because early game iron isn't that common and if it is then likely you will speedrun ender dragon and get elytra so they should make the saddles like leather and wood or something wooden

Most players never beat the game. I think the loud minority of players don’t use mounts.
I’ve been using horses to get around before getting my elytra. I just got lucky when I tamed a wild fast horse.
