    (Heads up – big wall of text incoming)

    The short version:

    I was sick for like 60/70% of the last 3 months. I’m talking colds, mouth ulcers (canker sores I think is what they’re also called), sore throats, basically things that made it very difficult for me to talk for longer than a couple of minutes at a time.

    I decided to do the voiceovers anyway. I got it done, but my voice changes throughout the video.

    You may need to adjust the volume from time to time, but hopefully not.

    The long version:

    After way too many months, I've finally managed to get this video finished.

    I considered talking about this in the intro but the video was already long enough. So here is some lore about the creation of this video if you're interested.

    Basically, I caught a cold three times since I started working on this video.

    Combine that with 3 mouth ulcers, or canker sores I think they're called, and the whole process got a lot more difficult.

    A smarter person would have turned it into a series instead of one single video.

    Or simply waited until they were better before recording the voice over.

    I am the opposite of smart.

    And so I pushed ahead and did everything anyway.

    The result of that was an 11 hour voiceover audio file.

    More than half of that was me coughing, flubbing lines, and losing my voice.

    It was actually pretty funny to listen to. For the first couple of minutes anyway. Then I wanted to slide tackle the past version of myself for making me spend hours and hours and hours cleaning up the voiceover. I’m not entirely happy with the audio but then again I’ve forever struggled with the audio of my videos 😅

    Anyway, I've learned my lesson and the next playthrough will be done in the form of a series, rather than one single video.

    I'm hoping to be more consistent with uploads now that I've managed to avoid colds/ulcers for the last week or two. I’d like to get at least 5 videos uploaded before the end of December. Very optimistic, I know 😌

    I have been so excited for this video! I love your videos. I've recently gotten back into modding, Sword and Sorcery has been my favorite. Your channel inspired me to try mods again, so thank you!
