I do genuinely believe that the sv fandom is pretty racist overall… like, there are two black npcs in the entire game, and they’re both hated? Like yea I get it, Demetrius is a bitch to Sebastian and all, but i’ve seen ppl saying he’s WORSE THAN PIERRE. No, he isn’t. And Maru doesn’t have a single flaw!! She’s pretty and caring and smart! Why do people say she’s mid like are you kidding me?? She goes stargazing with you (which is like, the most romantic heart scene IN THE GAME) and builds a freaking robots to take care of her parents because she cares so much about them!!!
People hate on Penny way too much. I don’t even marry her but I think it’s crazy. Obviously she’s not gonna be a huge fan of alcohol (her mom is an ALCOHOLIC) or the player saying they don’t like kids/don’t want kids (her dad abandoned her as a kid because he didn’t want a family) because she’s got a lot of personal issues surrounding those topics.
