NEEP Meat question: How do I use a Piglin as a base to make a Pipe Driver if I’m not implanting?

I've tried putting it on a surgery platform and a display plate and then combining / implanting the control unit with the PLC, but nothing works! Unlike that cow one where you implant, I just don't see how this one is supposed to work.

How do I craft this?
