How to delete the Ocean in 1 second using a Copper Coin

  1. I remember managing to put torches in lava in a much earlier version of terraria (back when picks couldn't mine glass) and it was very useful for disarming my obsidian grinder so I didn't have huge tanks of lava over my base. I could wire the lava and water deleters to open and close when I had enough obsidian, and I could dupe the tanks back to full using wires and pumps.

  2. This often happens naturally with chests, especially in the underground jungle. Paint the sky to water in tEdit and it will have a high chance to evaporate on loading the world due to this.

  3. ooooh didn't know this worked with coins, the method I usually use is a chest with something in it, same mechanic but a lil more annoying to set up

  4. Do you guys remember that video Wand of Sparking did where they filled every air space in the world, above and below ground, with lava? Well I did that as well and just finished the game about 2 weeks ago. I don't think I would have used this glitch to get rid of all the lava but man, I would have loved to have known about it back then lmao.

  5. This is a more compact version of the previous draining method people used.

You’d just fill a couple of chests with an item each, and place some liquid on them and boom.

  6. This happens naturally quite frequently. I would know because I've lost many good spots for underground fishing to one random minecart track
