so do these villager changes make things better or worse?! whats your take? 👀👀
Just make sure to stay away from the book depository
When are they gonna add an easier way to move and migrate villagers cause trying to move a mending villager from a swamp to your base which could be 1000s of blocks away is annoying and time wasting as hell. You either make a path and hope that the villager keeps inching his way forward and not turn around or get stuck. Or you use 1000s of iron to make the rails to move them its so cumbersome and there really needs to be something
Minecraft village rts.
The armorers change with using diamonds to pay for diamond armor is actually annoying with bedrock already requiring two armorers for a full set of armor. I hope this stays a Java-Exclusive.
They finally lead you to the Jungle and Swamp Structures. This is big, I always have issue finding those. The only thing we need now is the rebalance of the Anvil enchanting costs.
I feel like we’d need a better means of transporting villagers before they should make this change
Like, allow them to be leaded or maybe a 3 seated boat, maybe with bamboo rafts have some way to link them together
Take the like button down to Dallas in 1963? Like November 22nd 1963? You want me to work with the CIA and LBJ to assassinate the LIKE button? Ill need my Delorean from 1985
looking at the changes to the armorer i would love to see a buff to the chainmail armor
I just want more dogs 😭
"Stonks" is a gameplay style in of itself; I don't like these changes.
Former price range for those boots was 13-27 emeralds. 12 emeralds and two diamonds isn't bad at all. And no…that trade wasn't always down there.
And and…yes, you could buy chainmail, lol.
When is Minecraft gonna implement the crouch/crawl using trap door in bedrock? That's what I'd like to know?🤔
the "YouTube family vlogger" joke *OMGGGGGGG
dallas 1963 😍
We have a villager for enchanted diamond armor for 25 emralds a piece
Villager: hrr
I hate all those villager changes. It’s already hard enough to get a Mending Enchanted book, let alone Diamond Armor, these things make it way too hard to get diamond mending armor for your Netherite needs. I like my gameplay not to involve this level of difficulty or tedium. This is just back to the way things were in Alpha, only like ten times worse. Village and Pillage is ruined.
i do not like these changes, there is nothing actually wrong with the villagers. minecraft is not a matchmaking online game that needs to re balanced. its a single player game with multiplayer elements. i dont understand why they want to nerf the villagers so hard, after so long.
What is this going to do to our villager trading halls? also, watl watl
The only thing 1.20.2 is going to do is make players go back to using the enchantment table
With more biome specific trading being added, I hope they will add unique village bells that could determine villager types. The two bells without a natural spawning village can be found in witch huts and jungle temple, which will be easier with the new maps feature.
They did the thing when they kind of fix something semi I controversial
I can see it could be nice for singleplayer or maybe very small amount of players on vanilla, but on bigger servers like that, it will just make it close to impossible for many to still use villagers, if they think this will make anything better, I just think mending will be common loot in pay2win crates on servers, basicly turning mending books into gacha items, I think this is fine as an opt in option, but as a permanent addition I would say would just make many give up on their own playstyle
This is a bad idea all around. It's like Mojang is trying to appease hardcore players and throwing away everyone else. You can't make a game only for the hardcore players, the minority of players of said game, it'll destroy it every time.
So how are skyblock and flatworld players supposed to get any of this stuff? No diamond armor for them now?
Looking for certain biomes has been a grind at times, I like this new mechanic. You’re still making an effort, but the reward of finding biomes sounds… actually rewarding to me.
Minecraft 1.21
Grind & Find Update
Nobody worried about the fact that if you want a villager trading hall you'll now have to build 5 different halls, I thought it was bad enough building one for breeding and one for anything good you find, But to literally do this will be the death of Villager Trading Halls and i hope they roll back the idea of Biome Trading as it's the dumbest thing they've come up with
I feel like there would only be a point to the village map if they made them less common in every biome. That would in a sense solve the other problem with the game, being that it doesn't feel lonely enough anymore
so no mending in superflat trading halls is what I’m hearing, unless the whole biome is swamp and then only chainmail armour. Thrilling 😕
By the way maybe auto crafting can come in minecraft 1.21…..
So glad I just cheesed getting like 8 mendings from the librarian villager lol. I just started playing, so they were my first mendings, but it was way too easy to do!!!!
DALLAS IN 1963?!??? BROOOOOOO
(Sees Diamond Armor now cost Diamonds to buy)
Fuck this shit, I'm moving to Stardew Valley.
Nothing better than watching a video of your favorite youtubers
0:26 so kill it? Hmm I like that ima have to use that

TRASH UPDATE
As nice as it is that they are making diamonds more valuable and they did up the chances of finding them. It feels like they really should add a means that makes them renewable. I'd be fine if they made diamonds are drop off of mobs like the Ender Dragon and the Wither. Probably enough work is involved with summoning and killing those two that people won't be rolling in diamons; especially, if the number of diamonds are on the low end, but would be enough to give people options if they are on a map where it's going to require trekking 10s of thousands of blocks.
They also need to kill the work limit. Part of what makes the enchanting process unpleasant is that some of the level one enchants are only really worth using if you get somewhat lucky with enchanting table rolls or rolls on gear you find. Given that they have added setups where certain enchants are exclusive from on another. They could easily expand on that, if they don't want people getting too many enchants because the issue usually is more that they don't want people stacking certain enchants. Then do away with the work cap, that way if someone really wants to do something with all the low level enchanting books they have, they could, even if it might not be the most efficient use of XP. Also removes the sting, in cases where there might not be a villager trade for a specific enchant or the player just hasn't gotten access to that trade, when it involves the higher levels of an enchant.
The change to include maps will help but they need to just make a swamp and jungle village already for all of this, or even atleast abandoned zombie ones.
I like to stick as close to my castle as possible, i dont like the thought of traveling for my enchantments
Next time you post. Could you place the link of the changes, so "We the Watlers" can read the changes ourselves????
I'm in love with these changes, they're all good
When they fully release this update, what happens to the villagers with locked in trades?
Casually mentions JFK
I love this update as it makes the Minecraft progression so much better and it should be hard to max out your Armor to get to late game so this update is gonna definitely make Minecraft better. (IMPORTANT) Minecraft might scrap this due to some parts of the community not liking this and thinking its gonna be too annoying to move villagers around and want structures at the swamp and jungle to make it easier.
inb4 official waystones.
They actually managed to fix the villager trades!!
Will these changes retroactively change the traders in existing trading hall?
