You could also just buy hay once you don’t need to anything like treasure troves want to get high enough with Omni Geodes at the Desert Trader on Mondays that’s what I do so I have a bunch of hay.
I personally just like to save my kegs for buying honey on friday from sandy in the desert for 200 as i dont have to grow/harvest anything and it only takes 10 hours to turn to mead which sells for 420 artisan bonus
I also use it to save my huge patches between summer and fall, retaining the soil and fertilizer.
