Hey All,

Been a couple years since I've done any videos but the Family has been having a blast with Stoneblock 4 this holiday season and there became a need to better explain some storage options in the early game. Specifically for my 10 year old, who wont listen to me live but will watch and emulate any Minecraft YT video and instantly retain all the knowledge presented. …and pretty much the same for my Wife.

Tried to keep it short and to the point, 10 mins in total and the TL:DW of it is:

  • Ars Storage Lectern + Bookworm Token
  • Connect to Storage Controllers (not chests directly) to maximize space
  • Connect to the lectern controllers in Priority Order to set the order of putting things back. (IE, if you connect a Functional Storage controller for Drawers FIRST, then when you put items into the lectern or back from the lectern crafting, it will put them in Drawers FIRST)
  • You can connect a Sophisticated Backpack as well, it just has to be placed in the spot you linked it to the lectern (wont work in inventory or on your back) but the lectern remembers the spot (you can see these blue glow orbs for linked spots by single right clicking the Dominion Wand on the lectern).
  • The 'wi-fi' Storage Links function great too. Attach to whatever chest (like the ones from your Unearther's) and then link them to the Storage Controller. If that Controller is linked to the Lectern then it will all be seen.

Anywho, hope there is some value or help for anyone looking for single-block interface storage options pre-AE2 stuff as that seems quite a bit further into the progression. If there is better options then I am all ears for it too, this just seemed pretty good with the mix-n-match across controllers from different mods and no need to move/change existing storage too much. The lectern network can be expanded as well (range) with more lecterns. I'll likely do a new video for that too along with Roost….my quantity of Chickens is just starting to get out of hand.

Happy Holidays,

Cheers from OldBeardedGaming
