You know, you could've just swapped to the elytra and activated glide instead of trying a water bucket clutch, right? You can swap armor pieces by holding them in your main hand and right clicking.

They're not going to do this, but I'd like it if they'd add gift variants for the other chests. Ender chests could be blue and copper chests could be yellow for example.
They just don't care anymore. First it's the fucked up update they shoved out to the public, and now it's this tiny little problem they don't bother fixing because it doesn't make Microsoft any money.
Should make the copper chests a blue one during christmas since copper can be blue in some compounds
WHADDOYOUMEAN this is all intended gameplay. this way you can open your own Christmas surprises that the bunny hid from the spirits of the deceased just like every April's Christmas festival

If the copper chest is gonna have a Christmas texture, make it blue! Not only is oxidized copper blue, but we would then have the RGB trinity of chests.

What does PhoenixSC use to look at the source code?
Would have been cool to have copper chests with a different color of present so you could tell. Enderchests could turn to blue presents too, keeps the spirit of the event while keeping functionality

This, funny enough, also affects modded chests going back at least as far as 1.20.1 from what I've seen, when there's no actual chest state or if it's just set as false apparently it just defaults to the generic holiday chest texture
