I'm doing this but my goal is perfection, well kinda. I can leave very few days so if it's year 1 I left once, year 4 I left 4 days
1:40 I don't think that's true, you might have mixed chickens up with barn animals, which can give birth. As far as I'm aware the only way to get more coop animals without marnie is through the incubator (which you don't have access to until you upgrade your coop) and it's barn animals that can give birth overnight
There is a new option to allow monsters to spawn on any farm type at night. Not sure if any of the monster drops could be useful, but I am surprised it is never used in these types of challenges. Even with just a scythe, it is something to do. Great video thank you for making!

As others have mentioned/asked, I do have the PassableCrops mod installed. It only allows me to walk through saplings, fibers, truffles and a few other items. As its just a movement QOL mod, I didnt see any reason to mention it.
