I don't think giving UGC creators the ability to use transparency, emissive maps, particles, or anything is a negative in any way. I simply don't care about the already-existing items that have these. They're not that special or cool imo. If users can have the ability the make items that are cool with new cool effects, I'm all for it.
Roblox & Discord had alot of predators and adding age check is reasonable because nowdays you can barely tell if someone you know was a good or a bad

For the first one: DESPITE the fact that the age verification on roblox is making preds lives easier, they still praise it and want it to be on other platforms. It's shown to be ineffective for any platform.

being able to put effects on UGC items or transparency is NOT a bad update. So, what if the items with the effects become less special? Having this feature unlocked to everybody expands creativity and makes UGC way more fun, a slightly bad part of an update doesnt instantly cancel out how good the updates gonna actually be
anyways, to answer the question of the title, no, roblox is not back, they didnt revert the FAE

These companies do NOT need this information from us, and they've proved over and over again that they can't be trusted with it.

It's not only Rthro Avatars that need makeup but also R6.
Base on the samples: glow, tattoos, and freckles and lipstick. Face Shadows, scars, and other facial effects may be introduced in the future as well.
And also there are people using Rthro Avatars in the Platform and there are people who attempted to use Rthro Avatars in other games (who are not aware of game Avatar restrictions) complaining that their Avatars got their customization taken off due to game settings.
Rthro Avatars are:
– Plushies (or Baby Bundles)
– Dolls (Chibi or Model)
– Dress to Impress Bundles
– Zepeto
– Realistic (Anime or Realistic Rthro)
– Animal Bundles (or Mythological Bundles)
– Some Bundles that mostly depend on Layered Clothing
– Avatars with Noses (if we consider noses not being part of Classic Blocky Avatars even if they are R6)

This video annoys me, you and kreekcraft are giving Roblox far too much credit for what is still one of the worst updates in all of gaming, unless this update gets reverted I can see Roblox being more hated than EA, especially if they started this ID-gating nonsense. This update isn’t mid or good or whatever, it’s Roblox attempting to shove privacy invasion down people’s throats with QOL updates that could have been released years ago. It’s freaking B.S. Discord following suit isn’t “ok” or acceptable, it’s also a MASSIVE invasion of user privacy.
