Hot take Platinum is a near useless stage in ore progression. Usually (or for me at least) I just go from gold to molten, and couldn’t care less about it. Sure, it’s good, but who uses it?
You don't NEED to grind to beat this game. People just minmax their builds for no reason when the game isn't even that hard.. you don't need the bundle of balloons or the terraspark boots etc etc
My biggest problem is that it's a game that relies on you either already having knowledge of the game or having the wiki open. Same could be said of a lot of sandbox games tbh, but it's still a valid criticism. I still like Terraria as a game though.
The first bad review showed by the vud bc bruh just had skill issues he just need to read the wiki or just go blind bc it will help you learn or just watch youtubers that play the game to get better
In defensee of the first review, there is some validity to their statement.
Terraria can get really grindy at times. Especially in hard mode. Even after you get the item you grinded for, you get the feeling of "finally, now I can genuinely play the game." Instead of a feeling of accomplishment.
This does become worse after repeat playthroughs if youre not giving yourself enough breaks

The beauty of terraria is that you can play for any length of time at your own pace
The duplication trick will ease the grind

As a person trying legendary mode for the first time and I'm still in early game that can't beat the corruption as a mage. Then yah I agree😭

The only bad parts of early game are less movement and not feeling op, the rest is nice.
