If this update/drop isn't named "Cute Eternal" I'm gonna be so pissed.
I really thought they are going to add something like potion of eternal youth. Well it's close enough.
Just shows how out of touch is mojang, when an update after update they keep missing with there half cooked peta friendly ideas. And it’s so sad to see this game get actively worse because of update slop while fans are leaving.
As a way to reverse the golden dandelion's effects, maybe you could feed a copper dandelion and it'll cause aging to resume! I think it'd be a neat concept

I think since baby turtles shed their scute when they age it kinda makes sense that their colors would be different
Finally got a chance to check out the official article. There are a lot of updates to data-driven recipes, most of which are "special recipe types now allow you to define exactly what items are ingredients and outputs, each following a specified sequence of rules to process the components". I really hope this means they're preparing to support the ability to check arbitrary components on recipe ingredients, which would finally unlock true custom crafting with custom items in datapacks (something which is currently impossible).

It’s funny you complain about the baby turtle. Personally it’s by far the best one and if anything the others should be adjusted to be more like it.
The baby turtle actually looks like a baby rather than just a down scaled version of the adult model.
irl baby turtles are extremely small its likely that theyre emulating that.

i think the baby turtle's shell is a lighter green just bc it's a newborn and its shell is new. i don't know anything abt turtles tho so i could be making that up but it feels like it makes sense

I feel like the gotta add a cursed rose to un-age lock a mob just in case because you could use the gold dandelion as a form of griefing
Aww, I can't use the golden dandelion on baby villagers? That stinks, because villages look so much more alive with a bunch of the kids running around and jumping on the beds – that's one of the things I would love to age lock! Baby hostile mobs I get – they don't age anyway.

I am hoping they give us baby parrots. They'd need to also make a nest block and egg item for them, so maybe they're holding off on announcing that until last.
I'm hoping they reverse course with hostile mobs being affected. Or if they do go with a separate item to enable aging (golden poppy?), for that to work to unlock aging on baby undead too.
Maybe a wildcard hope for baby guardians, since they have elders.

I like this and wanted it I just don't want people getting animals in real life thinking that they stay little forever. It shouldn't be an issue but go live some life and see what people do to animals.
