    I believed that this the turning point, where for every real-life mobs to be added, it must be added with either fantastical characteristics or being outright boring. This event may also have influenced the decision of not adding sharks to the game in the update aquatic.

    Also, I also once saw someone mentioned how Mojang being rediculous for adding Polar bears, a known active human hunter, and not sharks. That’s probably because the Polar bear was added in 1.10, when the fiasco didn’t occur. The whole “realistic” debate really started with the parrots in the 1.12 update and continued on since.

    thats the only one that makes sense, i can imagine kids who’s parents have parrots playing minecraft and feeding their parrot a chocolate cookie
