  2. I think you should have a separate corner piece to allow for turning and not just a 45° angle immediately. Thought i must admit they look a lot better when they’re just normally connected

  3. Could have easily made a data driven texture pack that changes the rail texture based on what’s near it. Then you could also have circles that are still round, and a rail piece that smoothly transitions from straight to diagonal

  4. Two objects occupying the same space will Z-fight. Your computer is trying to figure out which one is on top. Game devs regularly just slightly nudge one of the two objects to stop this phenomenon all the time. This isn’t cheating, it’s the backbone of the tricks that make modern game dev possible.
