Spent some time doing research and testing, and have come to these results so far:
Both Cattiva and Foxparks can be found on the outer 1/3rds of a world in Forest/Jungle biomes (from what happened for me), they will have two Goblin Archers near them, and you need to kill them to rescue the Pals. (DOES NOT NEED ANY EVENT/BOSS COMPLETED)
Digtoise is a placed item that needs to be broken in the Underground Desert, it's quite large actually and looks like a brown shell covered in spikes.
Huge Dragon Egg can be found anywhere in the Underground/Cavern layers, and opening it gives you either a Chillet or Chillet Ignis (both are the same save for pallet swap)
Well, here's hoping this helps anyone, been testing these since last night and can be replicated, suggest Battle potion/Water candle for the first two!

How long did it take you to find Cattiva/Foxparks? I swear there must be at least one spawn condition unaccounted for by the community, or I’m just really unlucky with my 50 tattered cloths. Others have also reported that they have fought King Slime at least 3 times on the outskirts while searching for them and spent hours and didn’t get it, while others have got it immediately.
Wait so they can spawn in the jungle too? Shoot, thought it was just in the forest.
Has anyone confirmed which, if any, of the pals require a new 1.4.5 world generated in order to spawn, and which can spawn in old pre-1.4.5 worlds?
I’ve been trying to get foxparks since yesterday, I’ve gotten enough cloth for 6 armies and 2 cattivas
The cat and fox are too rare, I got 2 naturally spawning king slimes on both sides of the world before getting either
can you find them (specifically the placed digtoise and dragon egg) in already generated worlds or artificial biomes or do they generate with the world
Does anyone know yet if there’s a way to get Digtoise or Chillet in old worlds? Are their objects generated with the world, or do they spawn in?
Got the bad dragon egg by just playing naturally. Found while searching for life crystals in a small world. Super sick mount for being available preboss.
If you’re on a server with multiple people, can everyone find the same pal or is it one pal spawn per world?
does foxparks work like abigail where the more you summon it the stronger it gets?
